LDT, classy as ever

I think your WAY off base here. I dislike the Chargers as much as the next guy. What ldt is trying to say is the team, the fans, the media treat these guys like gods. They pump the ads and the hype about how amazing they are. Then when things don't go as planned, they swoop in and turn the tables.

How can these guys NOT let the hype go to their head? Their told they are the greatest, the best ever to play. Then they start saying you never lived up to it, your a has been. They are a product of a system we build. The fans are as guilty as any. Paying insane amounts of money to watch a game. Buying their jerseys and fighting for their autographs.

The media hounding EVERY little thing they do and say. Give the guy a little room for sakes.

I didn't see LaDainian say any of that. He was talking about himself. The article goes on to say what you wrote but LdT was talking about being disrespected.

Hey LT see the stats in this picture.....They explain why this is happening.

I'm not a big tomilson fan but the stats you show aren't bad.. He's been injuried but still averaged 4.14 yds per carry..

[QUOTE I especially like this part:

Yes, Tomlinson did just liken the Chargers' treatment of him to being crucified. Is there a more unlikable player in the NFL right now that hasn't actually killed someone? (that means Leonard Little is out of the running).[/QUOTE]

Complainian is at it again. :D

Tomlinson is at the stage of his career where there's nowhere to go but down.

3,167 touches, not including the playoffs, that's a LOT for a RB.

He has almost as many carries in 8 seasons as Warrick Dunn has in 11 seasons.

For those who did'nt know: This Just In ! - Ladanian Tomlinson is an a-hole.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.

Yea, but just when you almost start to feel sorry for the guy, or think maybe he's finally getting a clue about shuting the f*ck up about how great of a guy he is, he says something like this.

The premise of the article is incredibly lame......did tomlinson ghost write it? Ugh.

This guy is the A-Rod of football

i feel for LT...i mean....he sort of needs his hands and feet w/o holes to play football in them...

He has conducted himself with class since he arrived and been a beacon for the organization.

tahts from the author of the story...

can u plz give me a break

I'm so glad LDT is close to being irreverent. This has been a great offseason; we've seen the end of St. Dungy, and LDT is next.

Crucifixion, eh? If that's the case then would SOMEBODY PLEASE PUT THE DAMN SPEAR IN HIS SIDE!?

he's always been irreverent, now he's irrelevent and i love it. friends have told me they've run into ldt and he's a pretentious ass. he wants stores cleared out before he'll go into them, etc. crucified is the perfect metaphor. the reason he feels crucified is because he thinks he's above everybody else.

No, but you might well see it hanging in the Cathedral of Anthony, Saint Dungy... who is a "God-like entity" according to the Book of ESPN...

...and who also referred to himself as "class" during his farewell Sermon on the Podium. What a completely pompous, self-righteous, hypocritical piece of overrated garbage he is. A pox forever on the houses of Dungheap, Irksay, NaPolian & Manning.
