That's right, you are not in the twilight zone.

The Patriots have the Chargers 2nd round draft pick. Right now it will be th the middle of the round. But if they win the AFC and make it to the SB, it will become the 31st or 32nd pick. I want it over this week. I don't want them playing in the AFCCG.

So for that reason, and that reason alone, I say with soap in my mouth,Go Steelers.

Also, I don't want the NY football Giants to be in a position to repeat. So, it's Go Eagles, just for today.

I agree with both sentiments. That and I hate Rivers and Ldt.

I'll 2nd that. Next week I'm most certainly rooting for an Arizona v. Baltimore Super Bowl.

Thats why I was rooting for the Colts last week.

no matter what happens this week....next week go cards....go ravens.

I have to root for San Diego, pick be damned. I'm still operating under the "Anyone but Colts/Steelers/Giants" protocols.

That's where I'm at.
Although with my intense dislike for SD, it's going to be difficult.

A couple reasons to root for Chargers:
If the Chargers go to SB, Pats first rounder moves up one
If Steelers win SB, Big Ben will have two, right now Brady is only active with more than one

i do hafta say go chargers, just because some of my family are abnoxious steelers fans.

Can't do it. I'll root for the Chargers. I want to see the SB get spread around. Let the rookie have one, or let the Eagles get it. DO NOT let Benji or Elisha get a second one. NO WAY.

Just sayin'.

Chargers & Eagles for me.. Don't want Steeltown or the G-Women in the running for another one

Me too man. I'm over here in Steeler country so it's different for me than most. I DON'T want them celebrating a Super Bowl after some of the stuff I went through after SB42, Brady's injury, and a couple weeks ago when we missed the playoffs. The Steelers not winning is my priority, we usually reach for our picks despite where our position is so anyways draft position isn't as big a deal as it seems.

In the 21st century, the Pats have three times more Super Bowl rings than any other team in the league. I would perfer that no team whittle away at that stat! ;)

Plus, I spent my first 30+ years in PA. I know A LOT of Steelers vermin. Kinda funny though, Steelers vermin seem to be pretty ubiquitous. Even in the wilds of Montana!

Anybody but the Steelers and/or Giants!

g :)

That's another reason to cheer on Pitt....I can't see the Ravens beating NY in the SB...so may the best AFC team win!!!

I'm with the paranoid homer mod. Chargers tank this week ensuring a decent pick for us. Next week Ravens take apart the Steelers and go to the big show.

Love to see Philly take out the Giants, but I wouldn't put money on that game.

If it's a Chargers vs. Eagles/Cardinals Super Bowl then our draft pick moves up 2 spots.

Those two spots can be big, depending on who's available, trade value, etc.

Mediocrity Bowl: Chargers (8-8) vs Cardinals (9-7)

LET THE DREAM COME TRUE!

I am more concerned with legacy than the difference of 15 or 16 places in the draft order for the second round, and as Disco points out that could mean a better first round pick.

The Steelers and Giants are both in a position to make an argument they are the new team of this decade if they win a 2nd time, one less than the Pats but with more recent wins, so I would prefer to see both exit quickly.

+2 in round one v. -15 in round two. . . .

I'll root for the Chargers, not a fan of them at all but a part of me would like to see a old AFL team win it. I have a lot harder time ever cheering on the Steelers.

Go, in this order:

1. Cardinals
2. Eagles
3. Chargers
4. Ravens
5. Steelers
6. The Sun Exploding.
7. A Pandemic killing all humans on Earth.
8. The Moon crashing in to the Earth centered on the Meadowlands.
9. The NFL somehow reinstating another non hated team back in to the playoffs and them winning. (Tennessee play clock anyone?)
10. Me being decapitated.
11. A Comet landing in the Atlantic ocean taking out everything in the Atlantic Basin from a huge tsunami.
12. Me losing the senses of sight and hearing.
13. Giants

<sarcasm>So as you can see I'm fairly indifferent to the prospect of the Giants winning the Super Bowl again...</sarcasm>

Pretty sad year when my only chance for a team I don't hate to win is the Cardinals.
