Anyone have any thoughts. In house they have Fears, Mangurian and Dante.

My guess is if they stay in house they go with Mangurian, he has OC experience. But they would also have to hire someone or promote someone to be the QB coach and TE's coach.

Anyone have any thoughts on realistic outside candidates?

Whoever it is, he'll suck, he won't be creative enough, he'll be to blame for every failed third down conversion attempt, incomplete pass and stopped run, and several posters here will know every single call he makes hours in advance....;)

So there is a candidate named Mangurian, or a Mangurian candidate :idea2:

Very good. I almost asked who will be the next Patsfans.com Pinata. But figured I would keep it clean.

OK let the mind go.....do a little brainstorm and see what happens..............Jeff Jagodzinski, Vinnie Testaverde, Ray Handley, Charlie Weis, Ernie Zampese, Troy Brown, Jeff Davidson, Ron Jaworski, Mike Martz, Kirk Ferentz, Doug Flutie...............................wow - maybe not such a good exercise............

Maybe they can steal Brian Daboll away from Mangini. Granted the fact that he left the Pats for Mangini and the Jets may have made him dead to Belichick.

Why does McDaniel have to goto the Donkeys of all teams? They've got an up and coming young QB and their team kills us when we go to Mile HIgh... Sigh. Not the most desireable landing spot for an ex-Pats coach.

It's a no brainer - They'll bring back Ernie Zampese

Bill O'Brien, I'd think.

Hire Troy Brown - for sentimental reasons.

Rumor has it he's from Arizona...

Looks like he is Ralph Friedgen trained so he has a decent pedigree. I would agree in house and Mangurian or O'Brien are probably the guys. I don't see Dante or Ivan taking over.

Every time Bill Belichick makes a move, he has something in mind.

Bill O'Brien was added to the coaching staff in case Josh McDaniels

moved on to another team. O'Brien has a good resume as an offensive

co-ordinator and quarterback's coach. He now has one year under his

belt in the Patriot's system. Nick Caserio a year ago returned to

the front office after being an assistant coach. He replaced Tom

Dimitroff. Caserio has been a scout and has also worked in player

personnel with both pro players and college players.
