PHILADELPHIA -- We'll find out Tuesday whether NFL star and local native Marvin Harrison will face charges in connection with a shooting in Philadelphia last April.

Fox 29 News has learned that Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham will reveal the results of the investigation during a news conference.

Police have said the gun used in the shooting near Harrison's car wash in the Brewerytown section of the city belonged to him.

You can watch the news conference streaming live on MyFoxPhilly.com beginning at 11 a.m.

lol, so two days after the colts' season ended eh???

Was just going to post something similar. If the Colts had won last Saturday, would they have postponed this announcement to see if they lost in the divisional round?

In any event, as long as Harrison is strong in a quiet way, he'll get through this.

This is a sad day for the NFL.

My thoughts exactly, timing is everything.. of course this has nothing to do with the end of the '08 season for the Colts.

Special rules for special people. Everyone knows the Colts are "special"...

Heh...

Special in a spiritual sense?? Cant be....not with Dungy in control.....

This might bring the Colts out of the "2009 Bottom Five" in terms of salary cap constraints and bring them into the "2009 Bottom Ten".

The lawyer setup the announcement months ago. They made the decision to release the information as soon as the season ended. Marvin's lawyer knew better than to schedule the announcement for February 4th after the Super Bowl because they wouldnt be playing in it. So he scheduled it for January
5th after the Colts annual first round early exit/choke fest.

LOL :) Dungy will give him some pointers-Quiet Strength 101:D

The only thing that would have made this better, was if somehow the Colts didn't choke and were about to play the Eagles in the SUperbowl, and this came out a few days before the Superbowl....

I can only hope that Godell is going to give him a Pacman like suspension!!!

He must have a signed copy...

But he's a great and classy guy!! They need to stop wasting time with him and go after the REAL scumbags that commit hideous acts such as running up the score on poor innocent teams!!

They are not going to release him, he has trade value - So until that is done they are on the hook for his pay.

Oh, and Goodell better punish accordingly.
