I haven't watched any post game stuff so he might have already done it but who does he blame this time for another early post season exit?

Himself. He may have threw over 300 yards, and was great in the overall passing game, but he put up 17 friggin' points. That's not enough to win most playoff games.

from the quick soundbyte i saw, he just gave sd credit

Some pretty awful officiating; the Refs handed SD the game on a platter and they still almost blew it.

he had 3 easy picks that were dropped.

you could argue 4.

he wasn't that great.

Can't blame the officials

After widespread complaints, the NFL was intimidated into calling penalties on physical secondary play.

Yeah, like that blatant pick that they actually flagged the Colts for and ended a drive on.

Oh, wait..... they let them get away with it, it gave the Colts a first down and led to Indy points. Nevermind.

Backup Quarterbacks

Manning: Sorgi, I'm out there making plays...what the heck are you doing?

If I'm not mistaken he is now 7-8 all-time in the playoffs, and that includes one year when they went 4-0. Many of those 8 losses the Colts were favored.

There's a difference between non-calls that are rarely called (pick plays) and calling ticky-tack Def Holding and facemask penalties on a game winning drive in the freaking playoffs. They called two huge penalties when the Colts had SD stopped cold. That crew was bad.

You think that facemask was "ticky-tack"?. Did you not see the replay?

Wow...

If Peyton can't make crisp passes to wide open receivers than clearly there must have been a protection problem.

I remember when that never would have been defensive holding, but it is slipping my mind who lobbied to have that rule changed.

The facemask was about as blatant as it gets.

I thought those calls were all valid. And for some reason I was actually pulling for the Colts tonight. Damn....I Never thought I'd ever say that.

i missed most of the game but i saw the last few mins and the OT and the calls at that time looked correct. besides nobody got screwed by bad calls this year more than the chargers, so sometimes it comes around

For one, you can clearly see the Colt player gradding an arm and some jersey, so ticky tack my ass. The face mask ticky tack? Sure, if he gets a piece of it. He had a hand all over his mask, thats a flag. If you think it's ticky tack, you shouldn't have done it. I felt the same way about the Thomas play. Ticky tack? That was ticky tack, but still, it's in the rules and 9/10 refs don't let that **** slide. The Colts all season looked like they'd do something to me, they always seemed to get it done. Now tonight they came out and pissed their season away.

I wonder how long before Polian lobbies to get the overtime rules changed:p

such a stupid mistake on the face mask. He had sproles wrapped up he didnt need to grab the face mask and hold on to it. Iam thinking he was scared that sprole might spin off or break a tackle.

I thought the game was officiated pretty well. The Colts Defense were the ones who committed the penalties that WERE clear as day. On replay the penalties became ever clearer. How anyone can disagree with that is beyond me.

Bah, he probably just had Peyton Favre in his playoff pool. ;)
