just saw.Rodney in miami and willie in SD. At least something to watch these pre/post game shows for.

Is this an indication that Rodney's done? :( or is that just an ASSumption on my part...

I hope it's the latter!

they asked him that. he said he is a free agent right now and is just resting up, trying to get healthy and enjoying the playoffs.
i hope more expats come in the media.Hopefully we will have some balance with the media dislike for us.

Far from it.....he said he is a free agent and was going to wait a few months to see what his options are......I sure didn't hear the retire word there.

Whew!! Thanks for that info :) Rodney's one I want to see BACK.

I agree about having a Patriot/ ex-Patriot do some commentary; it'd provide some nice and much-needed balance.

I still miss Big Willie. I'm sure they'll both add a lot to those discussions.

For depth/coaching sure. If he must be thrust into the line-up, he'd be better to have than a rookie or a JAG. But I'm afraid Rodney's starting days ended on that glorious night in Denver. That injury looked too devestating.

I know someone has a picture of Rodney in an ref's uni as their avi.. I would love to see him as a referee in the future.

I heard an ESPN radio guy this morning describing Rodney's reaction to Ed Reed's 70+ yard TD run with an interception. First, he said that commentators in the booth are not supposed to cheer at all, think he even said there are small signs saying as much. But, when Reed took off with the INT, Rodney apparently went crazy yelling for him to go all the way, fellow NFL safety and all that. The ESPN guy said well, I guess when you're Rodney Harrison, you do whatever you please. :singing: I enjoyed it, even just the description of Rodney's good fun.

He's talked about wanting to do that.

However, he's coming back to play for the Patriots next season - So all that will have to wait.

Cool story,thanks! Rodney's awesome-a few little "no cheering" signs won't stop him:D
Watching Ed Reed yesterday reminded me of primetime Rodney... come playoff time he was always a lock for a huge INT, and he could take it home too.

I've always wondered how he'd manage to suppress his instincts to tackle receivers. :)

I was watching this morning,Rodney was giving major props to Ed Reed re yesterdays game,he said something like"Reed is a shutdown corner, best in the league, reminds me of Deion Sanders, but Sanders couldnt tackle"..it was great!

Found this little nugget burried in Reiss' mail bag.

:rocker:

On Rodney Harrison, he’s not thinking retirement. I saw him down in Miami this past weekend and he’s training and rehabilitating to give himself a chance to play again.

Did anyone see how chummy Ray Lewis and Rodney were on the NFLN. They were complimenting each other, hugging, and looked like old pals. NO HOMO. Do you think Rodney is in Ray Ray's ear about coming to the Pats next year? Imagine Mayo and Ray in the middle with Bruschi to spell one or the other. Might be interesting.

I was looking here before posting it. That's good news. Motivation is a dangerous thing.

Hopefully its that and not the other way around.
