NFL Draft Scout Top 64

The Rankings really don't mean squat and they are going to fluctuate tremendously based on which underclassmen declare. For instance, there are 3-4 underclassman WRs what are almost certain to declare. That is probably going to know Inglesias into the 2nd and possibly the 3rd round...

Things are in such a state of flux, they aren't worth putting the time into reveiwing right now, but thanks for the link.

Maybe he is over hyped, but he showed me a lot of growth this season. He started taking and shedding blockers instead of running around them. Add that to the fact that he has always been decent in coverage and this is a player BB has to have on the board, and fairly high as well.

we'll see what he does against Texas. I think he is a 2nd rounder, not a first rounder. I think he is going to fall in the draft.

I think he had a very solid game against Texas.

Obviously not exact, but a starting place. Some players close to #23 who I like:

21. Eben Britten OT Arizona 6'6" 310# 5.10
23. William Moore S Missouri 6'1" 226# 4.49
24. Paul Kruger DE (?3-4 OLB) Utah 6'5" 265# 4.68
32. Sean Smith CB/S Utah 6'3" 210# 4.52

Some players close to #47 who I like:

44. William Beatty OT Connecticut 6'6" 10# 5.16
47. Connor Barwin DE (? 3-4 OLB/ILB) Cincinnati 6'4" 255# 4.64

Some players close to #57 who I like:

55. Alex Mack C (OG?) Cal 6'4" 314# 5.12
58. Darius Butler CB Connecticut 5'11" 187# 4.42

William Moore/Connor Barwin/Alex Mack sounds pretty good to me.

If Lauranitis falls and I expect he might get into the twenties, BB wil take him, for the following reasons:

1) He fits a need, at ILB. Most ILBs are too slow if big; or too small if fast, for the BB Defense.

2) He can cover better than any of the ILBs and shutting down the TE over the middle is a necessity.

3) He is smart, a student of the game and a film rat. Sound like familiar BB wants?

4) There are no CBs that are studs but maybe 2, this year but a lot of 2s, 3s and 4s possibilities.

5) There were only a couple of great S this year, and Mays isn't coming out. He was the only certain Superstar. Others are 2,3, 4s...

6)Mauluga wil go first and may allow Lauranitis to drop into range ...:D

With more than 3 months until the draft, we have a suggestion for our first three picks that many of us can accept! Moore, Barwin and Mack.

and even someone to watch who might drop to us: Laurinitis.

I watched Kruger in the Alabama game and granted Smith was not playing for Alabama, but Kruger impressed me. He was instintive and appeared stronger than I expected, he had some quick twitch, but not long speed. But most importantly, he made plays.

I know he is older than most in this draft, but I am interested to see how he does at the combine and/or pro day workout.
