here's the funny thing...NOT ONE media idiot and this goes double for the Schlereth's and morons from NFLN can explain how "spygate" could have possibly meant ANYTHING close to what they constantly vomited all last season, when the Patriots went 11-5 with a high school QB and half a team decimated by injuries. I'm extremely impressed with how Matt Cassel has progressed this season. I don't even think of him as a "backup quarterback" any more. He's a legitimage starter in this league, as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with your post HOWEVER, I'm definitely in the minority here because 75% of Patsfans here polled that Cassel should be cut. Later, these same 'experts' polled as to which game Cassel would be benched for O'Connell or a FA like Culpepper. I kid you not. This was not a distinguished year for posters here. Idiotic threads like those I mentioned drove several of the very best game analysis posters away from the site permanently. A big loss.
