The good news is that there isn't near as much travel involved as there was this season, although at the end of the day we finished a respectable 3-1 on the West Coast so maybe the travel isn't that big of a deal. We are playing the two toughest NFC South teams at home. I'm glad that we are hosting the Ravens instead of playing in Baltimore. I don't think the Titans and Bucs will be as good as they were this season. Bad news is a trip to Indy and a possible trip to San Diego. Playing in New Orleans will be tough. Of course teams will improve and regress from this season to next. For example, Panthers at home may look tough tonight, but fast forward 10 months from now and let's say the Panthers are playing their backup QB and coming in with a losing record and the game will be looking much easier.

The draft is scheduled for April 25.

Re: Next season's schedule

Have we ever played Indy at Foxboro during the regular season in this millenium?

We are going to dominate@!!@@@

Re: Next season's schedule

This is the last of the Colts/Pats matchup.

Re: Next season's schedule

Wow, with that schedule, I pray Brady is ready from the GetGo.

Have we ever played Indy at Foxboro during the regular season in this millenium?

3 straight seasons from '04-'06

Re: Next season's schedule

Does anyone have an explanation as how that works. We are in Indy again, why and how is that possible?

No, only in 2004, 2005, and 2006. ;)

(The Patriots did not play in Indy in the regular season during that stretch).

Re: Next season's schedule

You guys got to be joking.

Week 1 2004 @ NE

2005 @ NE

2006 at NE

We get two home games and it's a conspiracy.

I don't understand how people forget so easily. They came here 3 straight regular seasons, now this will be the 3rd straight season we go there.

Re: Next season's schedule

For those complaining about playing Satan Manning in Hell, er, IND, remember that the 2004, 2005, and 2006 games all took place in Foxboro.

I remember and thought that was ridiculous as well. When we play the AFC south every three years I know that 1 time is at Gillette and the next in Indy. Then in between those years the Pats and Colts have both won their divisions so that they play each other. Would it not make sense that the schedule would dictate that the AFC east champ would play the AFC south champ at home this year and then away the next year? Having said that, then the most we should have played each other in Indy is twice. I am looking for an explanation as to why it is 3 years in both cases.

Re: Next season's schedule

I remember 2004, that was the Monday Night game season opener, right?

The others I don't recall as much. I guess its evened but it would have been nicer all around to alternate year by year.

Re: Next season's schedule

One good thing is that the Buccaneers game is an away game..

Re: Next season's schedule

I'm obscenely excited for the New Orleans game. It's the first time I'll get to see the Pats in person.:D

It's going to be an interesting season. It's potentially a very tough schedule, depending on how everything shakes out this offseason.

That was the game Edge fumbled on the 1 yard line twice. If not for that it was going to be a blowout and Colts win easily.

Re: Next season's schedule

I'm glad we don't have to play the steelers next year, but the Ravens will probably be just as tough as long as their defense holds up.

Yeah, but the Steelers have this nasty tendency of putting Patriots on the IR list.
