Snow didn't prove to be all that bad for us against the Cards :D

Don't really care about our game, we should win in any conditions or we aren't a playoff quality team.

More importantly :

Daily Weather Forecast for East Rutherford, NJ (07073) - weather.com

It looks a little nicer than I'd like for the New Jersey Jets, not that cold, a little rain, a little wind. The worse the better to make a tough place to throw even tougher for the little boy arm on Pennington.

that weather has changed daily. I'll wait till about thursday to really care.

either way

Happy Festivus everyone.

Snow is not a problem. If sleet and/or rain though...urrrgh...

Atleast Jordan is back and healthy...him and Morris and Faulk can just pound the ball so the team doesnt have to relly heavily on the passing game...

I dunno . . . rain didn't bother Cassel that much, either. . . .

right now bad weather means worser favre.pennington played decently in -10 wind chill last week. i wouldnt mind it being a balmy 50 with no rain or snow to speak of for the jets to win.

Buffalo Weather Outlook: Irrelevant. No WAY New England loses this game. None.

Pennington was well known for struggling in the dead zones of the Meadowlands, it's a tough place to throw and Favre has more left on the arm - regardless of what happened last week. Doesn't mean Favre will have the better game but the tougher it is to throw the more our odds go up IMO.

Too early for a forecast in Buffalo.

I mentioned 4 days ago...that it looked like Buffalo was having a storm and it seems like that is the case...ALTHOUGH..if you said sno anytime there in the winter...you could be close..but that was the 10 day Fr-Sat...no change really..

It all depends on Lake Effect, and you can't predict Lake Effect beyond 12-24 hours.

But lake effect will ONLY make it worse...correct?? SO if there is a storm..it will just add more??

Moisture from the lakes (Erie) gets sucked up and deposited as snow. It's not unusual to get 4 inches of lake effect snow without any storms.
I had the pleasure of living on the south end of Lake Ontario for four years and got to experience it firsthand...Throw in some wind from a storm and it gets dicey but as the Pats proved last Sunday, weather is just something to be dealt with...

This is assuming the storm won't change/move the Lake Effect.

There is no storm moving across the country right now. What you're seeing for Buffalo is calculations predicting Lake Effect. Lake Effect itslef is completely unpredictable, and not only that, it's highly discriminatory. One street can get 6 inches of snow, while the next street over gets nada.

Lake Effect is striated bands of moisture.

Trust me, my Mom in New England calls all the time and says, so I here you got 1 1/2 feet of snow. No matter how many times I tell her, "That must be somewhere to the south of here (Buffalo)," she still insists that, because she saw it on weather.com, I must have gotten a lot of snow.

it went from 35 early today, to 43 right now, Like i said, wait till atleast thursday.

Accuweather is right now showing 40 degree temperatures, with 26 mph constant winds, 44 mph gusts, no rain.

Uh, that's a pretty screwy forecast for late December. Hard to figure that one out.

You don't want to kick field goals in that weather. But you may be able to pass a little in when you've got the wind at your back (by the way, the stadium is oriented East-West from goalline to goalline) so the wind will be sweeping down the field instead of across it.
