I hope the Jags win and the Jets lose. I predict that the Jags comes out angry this game with something to prove, and the Ravens fall flat in the biggest game of the season.

Jags - 17
Ravens - 3

Book it!

I rather win our 6th straight division title....

The Jags going on the road with nothing to play for but pride, I am not holding my breath. I hope your score is correct, but Lewis will have that team ready to play. Who knows maybe Flacco will suck up the joint and turn the ball over 3 or 4 times.

Yes, but having options is nice....;) :D

And honestly how cool would it be to have the Jets come up to Foxboro for WC weekend to get spanked! Come on man think this through...:D :D

Positives of the Jets making the playoffs...

1) We get to then immediately knock them out.
2) They lose their 2009 2nd round draft pick.

Negatives...

1) Mangini more likely to keep job.
-Yes this actually hurts the team, but that man making a head coaching salary for another year sickens me.

I'd rather Mangini be their head coach than any of the following:

Bill Cowher
Josh McDaniels
Steve Spagnola
Marty Schottenheimer

Mangini as their head coach is awesome.

I wouldn't be shocked if Mangini still gets fired even if he gets the jesters in only to be beaten by the Pats...again. Especially if Cowher or Billick shows interest in the job.

I wouldn't put money on the Jags but they're a viable, solid team that plays decent defense against the run. Given that the Ravens' QB isn't that good it's an OK matchup. I expect the Ravens to win and the Jets' game to come down to the wire.

I really don't care how...if the Patriots make it to the playoffs with all the adversities they went through this year would be a great Christmas present for me...

Sunday doesn't come soon enough.

I like your way of thinking!

If you've had as disappointing season as the Jags have, knocking a team out the playoffs may be a nice consolation. I expect them to be fired up for this game, hope they don't disappoint. Now beating Baltimore, that's a whole nother story.

While there have been plenty of conspiracy comments in other threads about the Jets laying down Sunday, what about Jacksonville? The Jets at least have something to play for while Jacksonville does not. Seems like an opportunity for a few backups to get some gametime experience. Perhaps the team wants to avoid a possible injury to Garrard or Maurice Jones-Drew.

Two years ago Del Rio suggested a Jags player should have speared Tom Brady on a play that Brady took a hard hit. After the playoff game following the '05 season Del Rio had a lot to say about the headsets and coach-to-QB radios not working, and he brought that up again during the spygate witchhunt by then saying they "mysteriously malfunctioned" - though at the time it seemed to not be that big a deal, joking that they played better went the system was down. Ending your season to the same team more than once can become very frustrating. Pats fans should be more concerned about a less than full effort from Jacksonville than from the Jets.

My ineptitude rankings have both KC and the Jets ranked higher than Jax. God speed senior Del Rio.

Unfortunately, there is not one thread about preparing to play the Ravens and how they could be beat on the Jaguars forum. You would think you're visiting it in March or something.

I really think/hope Josh McDaniels is smarter than this. He has to see how bad the situation is down there, and see the way his mentor now feels about the "Genius". I don't think another BB assistant coach will accept the HC of the NYJ job again.

The way Gerrard has played this year, that might be a good thing for the Jag-offs. I'd feel better about their chances with anyone in there other than Gerrard. He sux!

This Jag team may be in total disaray and ready to go home........UGH........ how in the world will they be able to overcome a Raven team with a playoff berth on the line, playing at home, three days after xmas.

And that is means......what? Fans are disinterested.

I doubt you will find much on the Bills board either.

And just because we at Patsfan.com are more focused on Jets-Fins and Jax-Ravens then the Bills do you think that means so is BB and the team.
