I'm a die-hard Bolts fan ( ) so go easy on me... but I've been following the Patriots with mild interest this season ever since Tom Brady went down. I fully admit that I followed you guys just to see if Belichik is as great a coach as you all think he is, especially when losing a QB of Brady caliber and bringing in a virtual unknown.
1. I admit, I may have been wrong in my assessment of the Hoodie in grey, as much as I have to admit it. I may not like him, but man... he has earned my respect. To see him bring this team together like that after a devastating week 1 where I see many Pats fan (on this forum no less) gave you all up for dead... well, that is amazing. Props to Belichik! (He still rubs me the wrong way but credit where it's due).
2. Matt Casel. Wow... the dude has been a beast. I mean, who would have really expected this? Really? But I'm telling you what, I'm hoping he hits the FA market and goes somewhere else because when Brady's back and Casel is his backup... that's one scary team.
3. The Patriots team. Hey, they all could have given up, but man did they hang in there and now they're on the verge of making the playoffs. I have to respect the team for that, rival to my Chargers or not. Personally, I would like to see you guys in just so that when we hoist the Lombardi trophy overhead, we won't have to hear excuses about deserving it or not! (Hey, gotta get my smack in)
Well, that's all I have so peace. Good luck to you all this weekend!
