That's not cool.

neither is throwing snow balls at people.

It sucks becuase we as fans have this great snowy weather celebration tradition and idiots are ruining it and making us look bad by tossing snowballs for the entire game. why spend money on the ticket if you are more interested in a snow ball fight than the game. Morons.

Yet the same people who are ripping Ellis in the Jets thread for responding to idiots like this will back these people by saying "well, you buy a ticket, you can do whatever you want". This idiots should have been escorted out by security halfway through the first quarter.

Reputedly, Gillette Stadium is filled with CCTV cameras aimed at the stands for unruly behavior.

I hope the folks who threw snowballs at the field get to spend the holidays all warm and toasty in Cedar Junction.

Of course it isn't. It's pathetic behavior and they deserve to be escorted out.. There are douche bags in EVERY stadium and rooting for EVERY TEAM. That's not the point. The article is pretty much dead on in most respects, and it's totally not surprising that the author took a sentence or two to dig at the Pats.

Typical Mediot.......... Write a basically true unrelated story, and make sure to take a moment to snipe at the Patriots along the way.

This surprises us HOW

I was at the game and everyone behaved responsibly as far as I could tell....

The guy that missed Warner with the snowball should be punished for throwing like a girl...

That team deserved no respect for their abysmal performance. If you mailed it in like that at work you wouldn't have a job on Monday.

Maybe Warner should have prayed harder for his teammates...

I doubt it. No one should condone that stuff (ANYWHERE). The bottom line is that this crap sadly happens everywhere. Hopefully security can take care of the offenders, but that's a pretty tall order.

I actually have think that Ellis (douchebag that he may be), is somewhat justified for what he did. Or at the very least doesn't get punished. The whole team was getting plastered by snowballs trying to leave the field. The Seattle crowd should be embarrassed.

The only thing that annoys me, is that while the Seattle behavior is related to a background of the stupid fan YouTube post, this author see fit to call the Patriots out special, like our fan base is the only one with Jag offs in it.

Why do we always focus on the few oddballs doing stupid things? Tens of thousands of fans were NOT throwing snowballs at anyone. You'll find the few idiots that do stupid things anywhere and everywhere you go in life.

If it happened, the fans should have gotten the boot and have their season tickets revoked. With a waiting list of 50,000 or so, we can afford to lose some zeros. It paints a bad picture of the team, and is uncalled for in a blowout when the opposing team didn't appear to be doing squat to the fans deserving that response. The Cardinals appeared to be sitting dejected on their bench for most of the game.

There appeared to be enough fans enjoying heaving the snow up in the air and making a good impression that you do not need that garbage, definitely not when you can be celebrating a great game by the Pats rather than making an idiot of yourself.

In his defense, the author said "a handful of fans," meaning it did not reflect the majority of fans there.

It wasn't that bad yesterday. A random snowball here and there, it wasn't like they were raining down on the Cardinals.

All joking aside. Tunescribe is correct with his observation. I only witnessed one snowball thrown at the field. Most were thrown at other fans especially one guy with a Cardinals hat on.

More "zero tolerance" attitude from our society. Kind of like suspending the kid with the pocket knife at the middle school like he is some sort of terrorist.

In my defense ;)

Why mention it at all if it's a handful of fans. Might as well mention the guy that took a wiz in the parking lot after the game.

Unless is was a significant issue (and judging by most of the responses from people there, it wasn't), there is no call for it in a story about the CARDINALS and and the crap-ass way they have been playing. If this was a story entitled "the 12 douche bags of Gillette" then fine, it has relavance. In a Cardinal story, it doesn't and it only comes across a free swipe at the Patriots.

Like I said............ Business as usual for the Media.

Hey Mikey, I'm glad the fans here in Philly would never, ever do anything like that......While it's not cool, I've seen worse at the Meadowlands or the Vet/Lincoln Financial for Eagles-Giants game where there's more violence in the stands than on the field.......
IIRC he was one of those ragging incessantly on the Pats last year for either a) running the score up and/or b) spygate..
I'm not justifying it but to blame 60,000 for the actions of a few would be like blaming all sportswriters if one or two lied about their resume............

Any fans throw snowballs at Siragusa? Now that I would approve of.

Haha... snowballs are nothing compared to beer cans.

Out here in Saskatchewan (Canada), the fans here starting throwing beer cans at the opposition in one game. I guess the story was that a player on the opposition threw a can back, and what started it was a player throwing a ball at the crowd that hit a fan.

I got blasted in the back of the head from someone in the club seats above me. They ought to give the guy who threw this one (at the guy who tackled Junior) a prize. It looks like it hit him right in the face.:singing:

The editor who wrote Freeman's headline "Ripping Arizona" missed the boat. Headline should have been "Razing Arizona."

Must not be a Coen brothers fan.
