I know a lot of you out there feel sick to your stomachs because you feel like you have to root for the Jets.

But just remember, we still win the East if they TIE. :D

So root with reckless abandon for a tie, and then if the Rats win we'll settle for that, knowing our hearts were pure because we didn't cheer for those scum scukers.

It's win-win.

I think I'm still coming to grips with having to root for the Jets. I was able to root for the Cowboys, Chiefs and Seahawks but the Jets, how ironic. Imagine if the Jets/Miami game goes to OT, that would be some dramatic stuff...for us Pats fans!

Nobody should be worried about rooting for the Jets. This is our season we're talking about, come on.

Yeah, but that's the thing, you don't HAVE to root for the Jets. Sure a tie is highly unlikely, but I'd rather root for it than the Jets to win. :D

I am rooting for Miami TO LOSE (or tie)!

Ummmm NO! OT would be far too close for comfort. I'm going to need to see the Jets with a 14 pt lead in the 4th to have any faith in Favre not blowing it.

What surprises me here is everyone has a short memory. Our souls are already dirty for rooting for the Jets in 2001. In the last week of 2001, the Jets beat the Raiders which gave the Patriots the 1st round bye. Without that Jet win, there is no snow game in Foxboro.
I don't care if Jaguars or Jets or both win. I want the Pats to make the playoffs. (Of course, they still have to win at Buffalo at first).

You're rooting for the Jets BECAUSE you're rooting for the Pats. Should the Pats emerge victorious from Buffalo, the transition shouldn't be that difficult. Of course, root hard for the Jaguars while you're at it just in case.

I want the Jets to win. The pleasure of calling each of my Jets fans to congratulate them on their teams win is priceless.

what is the big deal rooting for the Jets this weekend. rooting for the jets this weekend is the same as rooting for ourselves, because if they lose our season is probably over. we are adopting the jets for a week

Who knows... maybe the Rats/Chokepins game will end in a 0-0 tie which will lead to Lord Favrequad going "I didn't know a game could end in a 0-0 score?"

Okay wishful thinking there but hey.... it CAN happen. :p

we're not routing for the jets to win, we're routing for the dolphins to lose.

I want the Jets to win. The pleasure of calling each of my Jets fans to congratulate them on their teams win is priceless.

oooh...you are evil...i hadn't even thought of that...yes, we must call them to congratulate them on a fine victory...wouldn't be sportsmanlike otherwise, come to think of it...

Naah I just want Miami to lose. Squish the damn phish!!!

I am rooting for Favre to have a season's best game Sunday ... he said he still bleeds packer so it's not really rooting for the ratsies.
