I have been over to the Jets board in this now Winter of Our Discontent. Nothing cheered me up more.

Conspiracy theories abound. The best is that Rats Mangini is a Trojan Coach sent by Belichick to sabotage the Jets. That si the only way the superior talent on the Jets can be losing and denied!

Another is that Holmgren is in cahoots!

Other despairing Jets fans say it could be 21-3 except for the Hawks fumbles.

Favre is a pro-bowl bum.

Others say Same... Old... Jets...

Now it's Favre on the press conference...he sounds like he wished he still drank, cause he needs something. I almost get the feeling he will write a book in about 2yrs, and the last chapter will be "NY JETS"...and hopefully he goes on to say that was the worst group of coaching idiots he ever played for, cause it seems like he really wants to say that right now!!

You might have missed the fact that them NOT losing today would make their game against the Fish next weekend mean NOTHING to us.

The sucked enough to get their crap together. I'm pretty sure the Pats are better than the fish or the Jets, sadly they're playing each other.

Mangini has to prove his rebuild was at least even with the Miami rebuild. There's more than playoffs at stake. Sadly, the Dolphins might handle the pressure better.

In all the complaining not a single Jester diagnosed the play and decision that cost them the game. Early in their first drive , they ended up fourth and inches at the two yard line. Convinced they were dominant, Mangini took the FG... Norv Turner did that in another key game. Later in the fourth Q he was going for it on his own 20, fourth and 4.

You have to a be a genuine idiot to not go for it at the two. If you get stopped, you can hold them and get the ball back at midfield and threatening to score again.

If you make it, and the probabilities are with you, you extinguish the underdog's hopes right then and there... :singing:
