Just in case anyone is looking that far ahead:

Pats @ Bills
Phins @ Jets
Jags @ Ravens

ALL CBS Regional telecasts @ 1:00 pm. That means 4:00 will be very interesting as we watch the dominoes fall...

Here is a stupid rule the giants and jets cant both be on at the same time... So eithier the jets game is moved, or the giants game is moved to 4. If the leauge wants fair play, then the jets game cant be after the ravens and pats they can play the same time..

Well isn't next week a CBS doubleheader?? Meaning the AFC game would have to be moved to later on therefore it would be the Jets game

Unless they move the Giants game plus another CBS game to 4.

We're screwed if they move the Jets to 4. We win-hopefully-and Mangina will lay down with nothing to play for except for putting us in the playoffs.

This is a best case scenerio. Mangini hates the Pats so much that he would tank the game. Mangini is out of a job no matter what.

Yeah, we got a consolation prize if the Jesters lose knowing that Mangina will probably be out of a job.

that is why godell needs to be fair about this, have the ravens game moved to 4....

bahahahahahahahahah ahhhhhhhhhhh hahahahahahaha, Oh man, Goodell being fair. Man that's great. Goodell NOT doing something to benefit the Jets.

That's priceless, you should be a comedian.

But, I'm sure I heard the SNF boys say they're taking Denver and SD next week.

I'm not sure but I think they both have double-headers in week 17.

With the SD-DEN moved to primetime, there are no CBS games scheduled for 4. That's why I figured there would have to be a CBS game moved to 4.

Yes that's right. They'll have to move something. They can put Baltimore there and that won't affect anything.

I take it we'll know tomorrow by 1 pm ET if any games are moved, since it has to be done 6 days in advance?

the way this season is going, they will move Jets/Phins game to 4 just to piss us off

Man I bet a lot of politics are going on right this second in the dungeons of the NFL.

They could move our game to 4 and that would be fine. We would play at 4 knowing if we can win the division with a win, or get the 6 seed with a win (if BAL loses). If neither happens, then our game means nothing. But the Jets play their game with a shot to win the division.

Someone in another thread mentioned 2002. Similar situation. 3 teams have a shot to win the division, 2 are playing. The 2 that are playing are at 1, and the other one is at 4. That would be fine.

They will move the Jets-Fins game to 4pm and keep us at 1pm. They will probably put Jax-Ravens at 4pm just to give CBS another playoff-implications game. All other CBS games will stay at 1pm.

Good for NE - no need for a rowdier Buffalo crowd.

so they might move both the jets and the ravens game to 4?

If I recall correctly the non-compete / 'one network only with a double header' rule gets thrown out in week 17. Which means teams playing at home can have another broadcast game on at the same time (i.e., Giants and Jets both on at 1:00.)

The rowdier Buffalo crowd will be there for a 1 pm game. Less of a crowd for a 4 pm game post-Xmas and also it will be cold. Wind chill of 15 is predicted right now, and it will get colder when the sun goes down at 4:30.
