Star Trek was on Prime Time TV

Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix were alive

Nobody had ever heard of "Frosty the Snowman"

Re: The last time the Jets played in a Super Bowl........

Most people on this board hadn't been conceived yet. In a few cases, perhaps, even their parents. :)

Brett Farve was in his rookie year. :cool3:

Split screen and phonograph are a little out of kilter on that list.

During the 80s, we still played our LPs, AND that's probably when split screen came out, 2 decades AFTER the Jets.

But, there were certainly no personal computers back then, or word processors, etc.

:rolleyes:

I always thought Superbowl 36, was the most important, ever.

========================================================

LOL. It was the best I could come up with.:D

On a serious note,:rolleyes: Everybody knows the NFL and all there fans owe a big thankyou to Joe Namath, his gurantee, and his victory in SB III.

With out Joe and the Jets the AFC would of folded and the Pats would of never won 3 SBs.

It is. SB 3 for a long time was considered the most shocking superbowl upset of all times. But the Jets' arch-nemesis the NEP ruined that distinction for them recently. :mad:
