Jets have Jet problems

But, but, but, doesn't Delta know the world famous, greatest ever Brett Favre will be on that plane.......All the media kisses his butt, shouldn't Delta too?

Heh...

It's not like you can suddenly change a charter flight, hotel reservations, ground transportation, and all of the hundreds of other details that go into moving a hundred people and thousands of pounds of luggage and equipment.

A humanitarian mission, a national emergency, etc, no sweat, it could be done. The Jets? Get in line.....

if mangini had STFU about flights and travel and all that then no one will observe. For some reason he decided he should announce all this 3 weeks before the seattle trip.

Nah. What are you talking about? No hotel conflict. THey will be there one night instead of two. Moving the people and equipment is NOT a problem. THe JETS were prepared to do it.

The only problem is Delta's refusal to change their flight.

I suspect that Jets fans will stage a massive protest, and get people to swear they will never fly Delta again, and Delta will change those reservations real quick.

Jets gave Delta over a week's notice. Teams in the playoffs don't know who they are playing sometimes until the game the week before.

Delta is just being short-sighted.

I hate the Jets, but they are not the problem here. It is corporate stupidity at Delta.

It is the Saturday before xmas. The only way the Jets request would have been harder to honor would have been the day before Thanksgiving.

Or should some flights be canceled and the kids not get to see grandma cause fatso changed his mind?

What do the NY Jets and Delta Airlines have in common?

They've both sucked since 1968.

Do you really think they had a plane available and still said no? Unless their rep at Delta is a huge Patriots fan, there was probably some actual, you know, reason behind them declining.

The Kraft family hold 18% of the common stock in Delta. Ho Ho Ho and that's a big FU for you Brett the annual retirement stooge.

LOL - I would give you a Tommy Point if this was the Celtics blog. Sounds like the Jets and Delta Air Lines deserve each other.

I avoid Delta Air Lines at all costs.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the Jest experience weather delays, have to spend hours on the tarmack, get no sleep before the game and arrive in Seattle four hours before kickoff.

Thanks Delta O'neill for making hard on the Jets.:D

I'm sure they'll love that. Mangina will get his flight on saturday if they don't leave in the next few hours.
