pierce said he was ok at the post game press confrence. he said he should play wed in atlanta. thank god.

Pierce's number will be retired when it is all said and done. He'll be one of the all-time leading scorers in Celtics history, and have a large part in multiple championships. Having said that, he has a tendency to be over the top on injuries. Call it what you want, but inside his head there's something going on that he feels the need to embellish an injury. Doesn't take away his greatness, but it just kind of odd. So when he got hurt last night, even though it might have been 100% legit, my first impulse was a shrug.

Although I do grasp your point, it did look bad on the reply

What's going on in Paul Pierce's head, gee, I'm not sure. However, when he showed up in a post game news conference with a bandage wrapped around his head from a foul committed in that game, that was my first clue that he's not "perfect from the line". Thus, when he was helped off the court in last year's playoff game and miraculously returned moments later, it was Paul being Paul. I'm not saying he doesn't get hurt, just saying he's prone to be overly dramatic, and for that, I don't need any one's medical files.

Nobody's perfect. That's our finals MVP you're talking about. Like this guy says:

Not sure what your point is, like I stated, he's not perfect from the line and he'll go down as one of the greatest Celtics, but that he is overly dramatic. Which was my point from the first injury post.

well thats your opinion and i think its BS. your opinion is based on nothing but your speculation and zero facts. its unfair to judge anybody when it comes to injuries. what does overly dramatic mean anyway? when he gets hurt he fakes pain? give me a break

I can always count on a good response from Captain Insano. So in your opinion, why was Pierce's head wrapped with a hideous bandage after the playoff loss to Indiana? BTW, I can provide plenty of articles in which reflect my opinion on this matter.

provide all the articles you like they are opinions just like yours not factual. i can provide articles from some people that think our government was behind 9-11. does that make it a fact? i hate to break this to you but there is no way you can prove that pp is overly dramatic lol. i have no idea why pp wore a bandage on his head im not a mind reader. what is overly dramatic? you never did respond to that question. is it faking pain? did he fake pain last night when a Utah player fell on his knee? did he say to himself gee this is a good time to fake more pain then im really in? you are beyond belief:rolleyes:

Comparing my opinion on Pierce's drama tactics to 9/11 conspiracy theories gives your forum name credibility. Considering this is so obvious as well as the last time we disagreed (Big Baby crying) despite all the basketball world spouting my opinion, you should just give it a rest. But hey, people need a good laugh in the morning.

I think he enjoys playing devils advocate, now to more serious matters, I hate Bibby and I hope he turns an ankle tonight

Why all the hate for Bibby. Don't know too much about the guy other then his dad played ball, he was highly thought of coming out of college, and got a huge contract after a big series against the Lakers..............maybe some words were exchanged in last year's playoffs.
I've worried about this game more then any of the recent ones played. This is a very athletic team which seems to give the Celtics problems.

your argument is full of holes so you go personnel. how very lame of you. all the basketball world supporting you ? that's hilarious really lol. ill decide when to give it a rest pal. you still haven't answered my question have you? that speaks volumes. please explain how paul pierce was overly dramatic last year against the lakers or the other night? was he faking pain? how would you know if he was? do you have special powers that we dont know about? i know you think the entire basketball world agrees with you. that's why you should listen to the doctors and nurses who care for you and always take your meds when they tell you to lol.

I knew this game against the Hawks was going to be a nail biter. Its not a good match-up, they are way too athletic and young, tho that sometimes goes to their disadvantage. Hopefully, we don't meet them in the playoffs because it will go 7.
I'm thinking the streak will be alive Christmas day, and we can not lose that one just because we are so in the Lakers heads. Once again, for all you Laker fans out there, a little chorus of "we are the champions, we are the champions........of the world".

Every good team seems like it has that one team that always gives them a hard time (Blue Jays, Dolphins etc.) now it's the Hawks for the C's. I hope they don't even make the playoffs, because if they do they'll likely only make noise against the Celtics.

the hawks give everyone a hard time. they ended cleveland's winning streak the other night. there record would be much better if josh smith hadn't been hurt. hes only played in 12 games this year. they will be in the playoffs you can count on that.

I'm almost positive he called all of Boston's fans band wagoners during the playoffs.

I’m guessing it will go till 13, but if we can take out NO on the 12th it is possible that it could last until Christmas when we play the Lakers…….. that would make for some drama
