I had Cassel all wrong from day 1:

Who do you think would trade for him?

Minnesota and Baltimore would be playoff teams with Cassel as QB IMO - if I were them i'd be happy to give up a 1st or 2nd and get a QB who could get the team into January

Co-sign, I thought the same thing last night I'd put him up against a lot of the QB's available next year just on sheer guts alone. With a little more fine-tuning MattyMan could really shine in this league especially if he gets on a good team, and I can think of a few who would benefit immensely.

You have to wonder where we'd be right now had we not suffered all those key post-Brady injuries.

No matter where he goes he's earned our respect and appreciation for what he's managed to accomplish here. BB was right on with his decision.

I still think he would look good in a Pat's uniform for 2009. 2010 is a different year and we can't afford two good QBs then, but next year it's a stretch but we can; and Tom Brady is likely to need someone to start the season well for him. Until he is F-U-L-L-Y healthy and agile, able to sidestep and step up, and dance around avoiding sacks, like he always did.

Last thing I want is Brady coming back and hobbling around like Culpepper did, until he re-injures himself...
