Nice to see someone stepping up! He was all over the recievers today. Definately an improvement over O'Neal

O'Neal is gone as soon as the season is over.

Wilhite's year is very similar to Hobbs rookie year. I think he has a good future ahead of him.

And the person Wilhite replaced (O'Neal) has reminded me of the person Hobbs replaces (Starks). So everything is relative, I guess.

Wilhite's the real deal for sure. He's smart too IIRC. He did an interview right before TC and he sounded like a BB type player. It's good he's getting some experience too. He's a Keeper.

Great news. CB is a desperate area right now.

Lewis Sanders looked very good at safety as well. It's possible that the defensive backfield may not be as bad as thought.

Then again, it is only the Raiders...

Thumbs up on Willhite. Wish I could say the same for Hobbs. He is now consistently worse than mediocre. And Merriweather has some physical tools but takes some poor angles in run support. Lewis Sanders looked very good at safety. For 09: Willhite and Wheatley at CB, Merriweather and Sanders ? at S. OKay, but not a great picture, and still need a Rodney replacement.

Rodney replacement = Cassell to Baltimore since he's better then flacco for Ed Reed.

I think (not positive) the announcers said this was Oakland's best air-game all year.

That's bad news for next week.

Rodney replacement = Cassell to Baltimore since he's better then flacco for Ed Reed.

That will never, ever happen.

Baltimore isn't looking for a QB.

Hobbs still in 2009. Then he leaves for more money than the Patriots would pay him. W&W in 2010.

Hobbs may be on the roster, but he will not be in the line-up if he plays like he has this year.

Its the raiders but I thought he looked good too.

its a shame wheatley wasnt as good when he played. even if they were our #2 and #3 CBs of the future thatd be great
