That is all.

This team would have 2 more SB trophies if they could draft some decent offensive players. Very sad.

Yeah the offense has really been a problem:rolleyes:

I don't like Watson at all, but this is the best offense in the league, common.

Four offensive players the Patriots drafted went to the Pro Bowl for them last season.

Watson has regressed to a sad level. Watson, Jackson, Maroney. It's not happening. I want some OL and defense, our skill player drafting just isn't there since, who, Branch ?

yeah except none of them were wide receivers

True. Scott Pioli, in his entire tenure with the Patriots, has only drafted two wide receivers who made it into the record books.

What a loser.

Why do people ignore Welker and Moss when they talk about "bad drafting?" We pretty much drafted them with a 2nd, a 4th and a 5th. That's as good as anyone can hope to do. Not to mention the OL they've drafted is pretty damn good when healthy.

Yes, TE is a glaring weakness on offense, but there isn't a team in the league without some kind of offensive weakness.

you are a joke man. they weren't drafted by him. they were known commodities. but nice try with trying semantics

It's semantics to distinguish between players that were "drafted" and those acquired on draft day. We got two of the best WR in the league for nothing higher than a 2nd.

this is a great argument but i think the large argument is using a draft pick on watson when yoou could have used another defensive player namely a linebacker

we certainly could have used one in the colts afc championship game

As might be obvious to anybody with the slightest knowledge of Patriot football, I was talking about Deion Branch and David Givens.

Branch set Super Bowl receiving records. Givens is in the books for catching TD passes in a whole lot of consecutive post-season games.

If memory serves, Branch actually edged out Jerry Rice, while Givens is in second place behind him.

I agree Watson must go. Still got faith in Maroney though, and Mankins was a great pick. We just haven't been good with the high pick pass catchers. Luckily, it's not really a need for this team, our offense is good enough.

our defense has gone soft. russel has all ******* day now. Come on, this defense will never improve. It's too late.

Nice, a stop.

Speaking of young rookies. Wilhite is coming folks. He's really coming around. First he was just getting PT, now he's pretty effective for us out there. As bad as our defense is with the secondary, we certainly have decent pieces at CB with Wheatley and Wilhite.

what the ****? run the ball you stupid idiot McDaniels. Why is he passing when it's not working? Run the ball, run the clock. This play calling is irritating.

I just can't believe Watson has not improved over the years. I think that Watson's problems are all mental. He fights the ball with his hands, when he does catch the ball he is usually off balance- so he can't use his great speed. Not a football player
