unbelievable

go No Fun League.

I swear, if this wasn't the greatest game ever created I would just stop watching it. The morons running it are crazy.

I'd love to hear Goodell's reasoning for this fine. The celebration wasn't offensive, it didn't show anyone up and it didn't do any damage to anyone or anything. How is that worthy of a fine?

I can't recall ever seeing a more pathetic excuse to fine someone. Gooddell has to go,hes making a mockery of the game.

Watson gets 15 yard penalty and $10,000 fine. Ryan Clark just gets a 15 yard penalty. Are you kidding me?

I'd be interesting to see if this fine was Standard Operating Procedure for any end zone celebrations that draw a flag. My guess is that the League likely institutes this fine on the first infraction of all celebrations, though I'll admit I haven't exactly been following celebration fines ...

What did Chris Johnson get for playing the bongos in Kansas City?

ETA:
Ok, quickly Googled and Johnson was also fined $10K. I'd guess this is standard practice.

This is so ridiculous but at some level I kind of saw it coming. Goodell is a moron.

Whats even funnier is if Watson was not flagged for the celebration, we would have had another no penalty game. That wouldve been some record haha.

That's some symbolic present to his wife. Mine will be lucky if she gets a set of earrings this Christmas.

A fine?!?

That is pretty crazy.

I don't even know what he tried to accomplish with that celebration, but I hope it was worth ten grand.

Does anyone know what his celebration was?

I know he put the ball under his shirt.......was he trying to insinuate that he was pregnant? I have no idea why he would do that. Am I the only who doesn't get it?

His wife is pregnant. It was a shout-out to her.

I'm disappointed. I thought he had finally done something aggressive.

Total incompetence

From what I've heard, Watson is one of the more low-key, unassuming guys. In the offseason, he goes to Israel to be baptized and to Iraq to see the troops. He's the opposite of T.O. So he's fined for a little humor for his wife. Ridiculous.

I can't believe anyone would even consider it a celebration. All he did was put it under his shirt. Its ridiculous.

The ball was used as a prop so I'm sure that is what they have their panties in a bunch over.

ya pretty ridiculous. watson paid his consequence in the penalty

but good point , the hit on welker could have ended his season or even career. it was such a cheap shot of cheap shot. it surprises me why a team doesn't just try to take out a team's qb in a game.

wait the steelers did that to carson palmer
