I am NOT condoning or endorsing this report, just posting it. I have never even heard of this place, browsing through the place made it look like the National Enquirer of sports...or Espn.

Anyway, these "unnamed surgeons" say Tom will never play again.

SportsImproper - “TOM BRADY WILL NEVER PLAY AGAIN…”

I doubt it's true, but it still makes my stomach turn thinking about it.

You can't take this site seriously. Who are these guys? However, that injury was pretty brutal. I cringed the moment he took that shot to the knee. I still question why the Pats came out throwing 5 wide when the O-line had major issues in the preseason. In addition, the are one of the worst in the league for sacks allowed. Whether or not Brady returns, the Pats must invest a high pick for a O-lineman. In fact, the Pats must make protecting the QB the top priority going into the offseason. The pathetic defense comes in a close second.

And I just spoke to an unnamed surgeon close to the case and he told me that Brady would come back better than ever. Have looked at the About Us page? Their Editor in Chief claims to have written 20 books, but I cannot find a single reference to him on a Google search. All three staff members listed look to be in their early 20s. They look to be a cheap knock off of Barstool Sports. No way would they get this type of exclusive.

I love how the unnamed doctor claims that the secrecy about Brady's surgery proves that something is seriously wrong. As if the Pats would be forthcoming either way.

Hearst & Pulitzer would be proud.

First, Brady has been able to avoid sacks with some bad protection in the past with his ability to move around in the pocket.

Second, Brady's injury had nothing to do with bad pass protection. Bernard Pollard was blocked perfectly and was knocked to the ground by Morris. Pollard just got off the ground and dove at Brady.

lol! Exclusively told them eh'?

Their Editor in Chief claims to have READ 20 books, but I cannot find a single reference to him on a Google search.

There, I fixed that for you... :)

Off to the Practice Squad with this thread. Are you kidding me with this stuff ?

I read both legs were amputated at the knee and replaced with cybernetic prosthesis. He'll be unstoppable!

I think read 20 books may be pushing it. Why not go with that he owns 20 books? I think that might be a safer claim.

Maybe colouring books.

Crap. They could just as well have said "I spoke to a couple of guys who operated on some people and they said Brady's legs might fall off."

Not every doctor is someone you would want operating on you, so frankly veterinarians could well have greater insight into sports injuries than the doctors asked, if doctors were in fact asked. Uncredentialed bloggers. Internet noise.

Sports improper dot com. What does that tell you?

Because it's total crap, even if it ends up being true. If there's no decent source there's no point in posting random rumors.

Come on how do you know it is total crap? I totally believe that two renowned surgeons would risk their medical licenses to give inside information to a writer from a fringe website that doesn't even have a Google ranking. What surgeon wouldn't?

I guess if we'll know this is legit if the Pats offer Cassel an $80 million dollar contract at the end of the season. :D

Oh, sorry. My mistake :D

After a little bit of digging using Mike Florio's methods, I can reveal exclusively on patsfans.com the source of the speculation used in that article.
