Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

If your being facietious, then make a comment at the end like "LOL" or put a  at the end. If you write comments like this, people will not know if your joking or not. They are just words to the reader. Look it up.

Sorry, I didn't realize that calling TO the most unselfish player in the league needed any disclaimer to denote my sarcasm. I figured my sarcasm would have been inferred. Sorry.

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

I don't know if I posted it here but I told my sister and a co-worker that I expected the Cowboys or Chargers to implode this year. Looks like I was right on both. There's history that when a loser coach takes over from a strong coach that they keep it going for a while but then all hell breaks loose. A few examples are the Cowboys winning a SB after JJ left then imploding. The Browns went to the AFCCG the year after Shottenheimer left then were 3-13. The Patriots had a slower drop under Carrol but were dropping every year. When a strong HC leaves his impring can stick around for a while but eventually the weak new HC is what he is.

I'm calling BS on that Chargers prediction BF.:D (See my documented prediction in your earlier thread this season).

Owens is simply team chemistry poison. He's insane.

There couldn't possibly be more obvious sarcasm.

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

Huh? Are you joking? T.O. the most unselfish player in the league? Wade Phillips and his iron fist? What the hell are you talking about? You obviously don't know T.O or Wade Phillips because they are the exact opposite of what you say.

Calling the "Tongue In Cheek" police!!! Boilover on page one....joke flying so far over his head it's invisible....

Snarkives ain't the sharpest tack in the box, Robo...

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

I have to give Colin Cowherd credit. He called it. He said that the Cowboys were so loose that could handle adveristy by rolling with the punches while the tightly wound Patriots would implode on themselves because of the loss of Brady. LOL!

I believe he also said that the Pats were like the family who looks perfect from the outside - and then later on you find out they are all closet alcoholics and wife-beaters or something like that, while the Cowboys were the neighborhood goofs - all the kids got Cs in school, but they all ended up being wildly successful. HA! It was actually one of the funny rants he does (at least I think they are pretty funny), but so wrong!

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

ESPN is the home of tabloid BS.

I say who gives a ****.

I remember listening to him go off and wondering does he remember what TO did in both Philly and San Fran, how Romo fell apart late season and in the playoffs two years in a row, Patrick Crayton became a mini-TO last year, everything Pacman has done in his short career, etc. The Cowboys even at the time were made up of some of the dysfunctional NFL players in the league. How did he ever think the Cowboys would show grace and dignity in the time of adversity?

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

Now back to our broadcast ... or original post. Is anybody surprised that this is happening in Dallas? Owens, Pacman, Jerry Jones, Romo-Simpson, all held together by Wade Phillips; my only surprise is that it took this long.

Regarding Cowherd, yeah, I remember that rant. Talk about backing the wrong horse! However, I'm still willing to give him a pass since he was the only national media member that I can recall to to go off on fans outside New England regarding the (lack of) effect of spygate on the Pats success.

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

Ok buddy. Just because I don't agree with you means I'm not smart.

No, apparently you're not smart enough to figure out that the smart thing for you to do would have been to say "oops, my bad" instead of shifting the blame to others. Hey, I guess both you and T.O. never make mistakes, though, you may be brothers!

schelerth and co are now ripping TO as being paranoid of romo and whitten having secret meetings. as much as i disklike owens i have a problem with running a story that sources say this and that.
and this is the same sports network which refused to run Favre's millen phone call story.

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

None of this is a surprise. Well, "archives" missing the sarcasm was a surprise, but nothing to do with the Cowboys is surprising.

As for Collin Cowturd, he's been kissing alot of BB butt the past couple of months, so im giving him a pass for the time being.

Go's to show what Romos all about, can you imagine Tom Brady saying Im not all that motivated to work so closely with Randy Moss like Romo said about TO. Romo's supposed to be the leader, he should have diffused this and then got to work on winning this weeks game.

Not sure which thread that was but I've seen it before with Schottenheimer leaving and the team falling apart before too long. Call B.S. again and I'll have to get my sister on here to vouch for me . . .

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

Heh,

Those Cowboys just kill me. It's like they're Football's version "Dallas"...

The team that put the "FUN" back in "DYSFUNCTIONAL"... :singing:

3 down, only 29 teams left for T.O. to destroy. The guy ought to be nicknamed hurricane, because he comes in with bluster, does a lot of damage and when he's gone you're left wondering WTF was that....
All that's left is Rosenhaus to hold a press conference with the obligatory "next question"

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

ESPN has made this story bigger than really is

Re: OT: Things seem to about to explode in Cowboyland

I'm no T.O. fan but I dislike TMZN and this tabloid crap far more, so I almost hope the Cowboys sort out whatever shred of truth is in this story just to take away this nonsense from TMZN and the drooling vampires that work there.
