He wasn't amongst the inactive players.

He didn't get cut or anything did he?

Re: BJGE got no burn today.

Considering that BJGE lives third or fourth on the depth chart and we didn't run the ball enough today as it was, it should come as no surprise.

Re: BJGE got no burn today.

according to teh Gamebook he wasn't a DNP...probably ST

With all the injuries on the inactives list. I am not surprised he made it to the active list. Looks like Lamont Jordan is taking his carries now.

Well, Jordan'd better enjoy 'em while he can get 'em. . . .

I don't usually post here, just view and listen--but I for one would love to see alot more BJGE. He brings a different kind of back to our system, the quicker shiftier type. (the one that Maroney was drafted at #20 to be) He dosen't turn the ball over, does everything asked of him, and filled in GREATLY when needed. I do not want him shuffled to the bottom, I believe he's earned the right to carry the ball more. Go ahead Ben-Jarvus.

From reiss' pieces...
>>>5) Running backs make the grade in blitz pickup. In pointing out that the Seahawks blitzed about 67 percent of the time -- which is a lot -- Belichick credited the work of running backs Sammy Morris, Kevin Faulk and LaMont Jordan in pass protection.<<<<

I wonder if it was simply a matter of the others being better at blitz pickup...

congrats on post #2 !! keep em coming.

PS at the buffalo game in gillette, we tried to get a new cheer going in our section. half the people say "Benn Jarvis", the rest answer "Green Ellis". we did over and over and over. it was awesome.

needless to say, it hasnt caught on

When Lamont Jordan is healthy, he is a very good runner. Maybe the best we have at hitting the hole. BJGE did solid in their absence but if Morris and Jordan are healthy he won't get carries.

That could very well be it, because BJGE is a superior runner to Morris, who clearly lacks vision. For ex.: why didn't Morris run right behind Evans on the 3rd/goal, just before the TD? I feel that BJGE would've scored, probably standing up.
