There's a long list of people you could say that about. We had a much stronger group of DBs back in Romeo's day.We haven't won a SB since he left

We've had Warren since 2003. Wilfork in 2004 but Washington was good before him. Back when we had Law/Samuel/Harrison in the secondary we were a lot stronger than in the past couple of years. I would like to see a more aggressive defensive approach though.Even with Asante our defense was lacking post-2004. And Romeo didn't have a Ty Warren to complement Seymour on the line.

Romeo is really close to BB and it's obvious how BB feels about Mangini and the way he left. No way this happens.
actually what i have read in articles like in owners meetings etc bb and romeo dont talk as much as mangini and romeo. i would be surprised if romeo came back work under BB.
I don't know if I would read too much into the owner's meetings stories. I know there were reports of Romeo hanging with Mangini there, but it doesn't neccessarily mean that Romeo and Mangini are closer. Belichick typically doesn't like to participate in anything during those meetings and notoriously skips the AFC Coaches breakfast every year. Belichick may have been purposely keeping his distance especially after Spygate.
