It feels so good to finally have the defense win one like that at the end. Maybe they just needed to prove it to themselves. And despite getting beat for that first TD, Meriweather is looking like one of the indispensible players on defense. Could be MVP behind Mayo and maybe Seymour.

Now, what I want to know is when all these idiot commentators are going to stop going on and on about everyone elses injuries and start recognizing the ones the Pats have.

They are on their 3rd string OLB in Colvin. They were on their 3rd string SS in Lewis Sanders. They had their 3rd string ILB taking most of the snaps in Seau. They had their 2nd string NT and 3rd string LDE playing much of the game.

Talk about bailing wire and duck tape...
