Not so easy as it seems - Sure Miami is tied with NE and is a game better than Buffalo but you also don't want to see Buffalo start on a little winning streak and possibly still have something to play for in the last week

Miami has a slightly tougher road in the last 4 games so its more likely for them to fall than Buffalo

If Buffalo wins thier next 3 games they have a legitamite shot for playing for a playoff berth come the last week against the Pats - If they lose this week they are toast and all but eliminates them.

Buffalo of course is the likely response here for the team you want to root for today, but who in here is rooting for Miami to win?

Buffalo without question. They win and it is another AFC East loss for the Dolphins and probably give the Pats a game cushion with them and the Bills. The Bills will also have a lot more to play for in that scenario next week vs. the Jets and might score the upset potentially making the Pats the division leader with two games to go. Buffalo wins the next two games and it gives the Pats a huge advantage for the race of the division.

PS the Bills have the most division losses to begin with at 0-3 for the division. So assuming the Pats take care of business at the end of the season, Buffalo cannot win any tiebreakers.

Buffalo..
Miami is still in play for the division title if they win out (which I doubt they will do anyway). Buffalo is on the downward now but maybe they can win this one today

Buffalo......still hate the Dooofins from the first beating.....

Also just hate Porter....

Buffalo

They can't win division or beat us out to a wildcard spot. Plus i know loads of phins fans who i can laugh at.

If I had to choose, I would say Buffalo. Would a Miami loss hurt there chances for a playoff spot?

Not even close.

Buffalo.

Bills, for a lot of reasons.. primarily because of their fans

I think Buffalo would have to win their final four to seriously compete for the division. I don't know if they have it in them to sweep all three division opponents. Maybe 2-1 (I hope with them winning their next two division games). It is far more conceivable that any of the other three can win the division with another loss (or two in the Jets case). I think that is too much to ask for with the Bills with all their injuries.

A loss in the division would certainly hurt their playoff chances. Miami losing would make the last three games a must win for them and even then they might not get in. 10-6 might not be enough to get into the playoff this year. The Dolphins have a worse division record than the Pats and Jets at this point and already have a worse conference record than the Ravens or Colts.

A Buffalo loss means that they would most likely be out of the playoffs with only a slight, slight chance of getting in.

Buffalo without question............Miami wins tie breakers VS NE due to only 4 losses in conference (we have 5).

Its a shame that this game, the jest and we are all playing at 4 today. Going to be hard to keep track of all three games.....

BUFFALO

In another thread it's pointed out that Miami wins the tiebreakers with us. 2002 redux. Don't wanna go there. WIDE RECEIVER would melt down PatsFans with "I told you so" posts (he didn't, but that's besides the point) were Miami to win the AFCE.

As to the Bills 'having something to play for', if we can't beat Buffalo with the AFCE Championship on the line then whomever deserves the title.

Buffalo. Even if they win 3 straight heading into Week 17, you can't fear that. Every game for the Pats is essentially an elimination game at this point.

Buffalo, obviously. who the hell would root for Miami?

Wrong,There is no slight chance, there is absolutely NO CHANCE of getting in the playoffs at 9-7 unless you are in the lead of the AFC West :rolleyes:

There is still a slight chance at 9-7. It would need to have two or three teams to go either 2-2 or 1-3 the rest of the way. But it isn't impossible. The chances are remote, but not impossible. There is still a slight chance that 9-7 wins this division. Not likely, but not impossible.

Buffalo. Hope they can win 1 out of this or the Jets game.

Buffalo 110%... if the Dolphins win this one, their game in Week 17 in Jersey is likely for the AFC East title... and the Pats would be on the outside looking in.
