Re: Friday Injury/Participation Report: Woods out, Redd doubtful

Sounds like a mash unit.. this list is too long. Wonder if there has ever been a study correlating the number of injuries after a superbowl year, are they higher.. it always seems that we have high numbers the year after appearing in a super bowl..

It is amazing the list of players injured who have hardly touched the field.

Tank Williams, Ryan O'Callaghan, Kenny Smith, Anthony Clement, Bo Ruud in camp.
Shawn Crable, Eric Alexander, Terrence Wheatley, Jason Webster, now Vince Redd and Woods in their first real games.

Wow, no wonder they brought in Colvin & Seau off the street.

So the only healthy LBs who have played this season and will suit up Sunday are:

Vrable
Mayo
Guyton
Izzo (who doesn't really count ...)

And now they brought in Seau & Colvin. Wow. Hope those two are in football shape ...

Wow. 4-3 this week?

Wow. 4-3 this week?

Them signing Seau and Colvin should be a real big hint that this is not gonna happen.

Mayo may be able to be the "prototypical LB" but the Pats just don't have the types of OLBs needed in a 4-3.

They will run the 3-4.

They are either going to have to run a 4-3 or Colvin is the new starter at OLB.

i wonder if this means guyton and the other young guys will get a chance to see if they can play OLB and get to the QB. why else sign seau

Have Guyton start at OLB, with Seau platooning ILB and Colvin platooning OLB.

Also, can Jarvis Green play LE? Mike Wright has been garbage since taking over for Ty Warren.
