Re: Albert Brees on Adalius Thomas . . .

Playoffs? Whatcha talkin' 'bout "playoffs?!?"

They're gonna have to back in, with or without AD and Colvin.

Needing help does not equal backing in. 9-7 would be backing in. 10-6 wouldn't.

Not in the AFC this year. They're going to need a lot of help from either the Jets or Ravens.

If they win out to go 11-5, past history says that they'll be in.

I think 10-6 will get them in. Regardless, I don't get your argument. You talk about "backing in" then, correctly, suggest the AFC is tough to make the playoffs this year. Denver will be backing in. If we make it we won't be because we'll be 11-5 or 10-6.

I still say 10-6 does it, I think Baltimore has 3 losses in them with their schedule. Regardless, 10-6 with no Brady would be a heck of a season.

Sure, I guess it depends on your definition of "backing in." But losing critical games is not a prescription for making the playoffs.

If Thomas comes back and we get Colvin, we could have a pretty good front seven down the stretch. Vrabel could spell in for any of the four linebackers, especially Bruschi. If Colvin plays well, the Pats could be dominant again.

Backing in is, by definition, going in with either a losing streak or a losing record. Cause you are, you know, going backwards.

You don't back in at 11-5 having won your final four games.

By your definition basically every wildcard is backing in.

I saw it too .

btw, are we talking about the colvin who blew his leg out and cannot cut in houston ?

i dont think he should play, just get ready for next yr

If he's cleared medically and ready to play why should he just sit out until next year. Kind of stupid.

Re: Albert Brees on Adalius Thomas . . .

HOPEFULLY, with a healthy Rosie Colvin on the other side of the ball. :D

Anybody else remember when Big Willie set the postseason sack record? At least one or two of those sacks came when the QB just ran into him trying to avoid Colvin. :D

Ready in few weeks........Good call Breer

Makes you wonder where he got his idea he would be ready from. Breer is one of my favorites but I am not happy with the way he got my hopes up on this one.

maybe if belichick fan didnt post everything a reporter says and takes it for gospel, we wouldnt have to deal with these stupid threads

Do you have something against Belichick Fan or something? Not sure what you are complaining about here. Belichick Fan wasn't the one who said Thomas would be back Breer was. And he never made it out like it was fact just posted a quote from a reporter most of us like.

Yeah, we have a problem because he is a know nothing chump and I call him on it. As I said on the first post, "let's hope" - this wasn't presented as fact except to those who have trouble comprehending the language.

maybe breer was right but circumstances changed after the pitts game.

as you can see by mr. belichickfan"s responses to you, he tends to get out of hand and has anger issues any time someone doesnt agree with him or calls him out when hes wrong, as far as not knowing anything about football as belichickfan claims, i can only hope i know more than him, csae in point , he was against bringing in welker, i guess evaluating talent isnt belichickfan strongsuitsw
