If the Seahawks beat you on Sunday, (and I think you are ripe for the picking) this puts you at 7-7 in your last 14 games (including the Super Bowl). Has there ever been a bigger fall from grace in the history of the NFL?

Welcome Patriots to the world of mediocrity. We will be happy to show you around.

look at the superbowl curse. go do some research on history and you'll get your answer

Never thought I'd see a SEAHAWK fan coming here to talk smack. Most of them are just angry because they never get exposed to sun. It's okay. We won't call you a bloodless ghost here, Seahawker.

REALLY???? Let's see, when the Seahawks beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl, I mean the refs took it away from us, we won the division the next two years. This is Seattle's first down year, but will dominate again next year.

You won a division filled by the St. Louis Rams, Arizona Cardinals, and... uh, who else is in this meaningless division? Oh yeah... the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seattle Seahawks can barely beat the University of Washington Huskies.

Let me get this straight. You just said:

St Louis Rams - Weren't they annointed The Greatest Show On Turf?
Arizona Cardinals - Tearing up the NFL in offense with Warner, Boldin and Fitzgerald.
San Francisco 49ers - Five Super Bowls - Need I say more

Yeah you're right, this is a meaning less division.

- 7 years ago. They haven't exactly been the Greatest Show on Turf since 2001.

- I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about 2006, the year after you guys had the Super Bowl blown for you by the refs (I'll agree with you there).

San Francisco 49ers - Five Super Bowls - Need I say more
- Ah so 2006 is the new 1980's? Nice.

4-12,3-13, been to the playoffs once? yah...not so great these days. To think, Arizona is beginning their yearly fade back into the pack but the rest of the division is so bad...it doesn't even matter. Sound familiar?

The prospect of bragging to all your friends that your team finally beat Matt Cassel must be very exciting.

:)

Seriously? The refs took it away from you? Did they steal the trophy away at the end of the game? I seem to remember Jerome Bettis standing there holding it up getting his big NFL send off... but I don't remember a bunch of zebras bum rushing Matt Hasselbeck and ripping the Lombardi out of his hands... I think I would have remembered that.

Don't be sarcastic. Everybody knows that was our Super Bowl and another championship for Seattle taken away. I guess we are cursed.

You're not cursed.

Registering on opposing football teams' fan forums to troll them is what normal, well-adjusted people do.

Although I don't think the Seahawks record in indicative of their talent level and I do believe if they had Hasselback healthy all season long they would be a lot more competitive and still be in the playoff hunt, I do believe the Pats will take it to them this weekend and do so in a big way.

I fully expect the Pats to exploit the weakness known as Kelly Jennings.

You don't get a trophy for almost winning. You are not cursed, you just are not good. You lost the damn game and you "12th Men" need to get over it. Find everyone in the world to blame it on, your team didn't get the job done. The way it is looking for them, that is about as close as you guys are ever going to come for a long time. No curse, No screwjob, just a loss and no trophy.

I apologize for coming off harsh, but it really pisses me off when people blame refs and bad calls for losses. Sometimes in a close game they can make a difference, but if they had done their job in all areas of the game, it wouldn't have been that close that one call would matter.

I really, REALLY want to knock out that guy in your avatar.

Visiting Locker Room is where this belongs.

Seattle isn't a particularly fantastic team this season, as the 2-10 record suggests. That's a 16.7% win record, of which even a measely 50% win record is better than.

Hasselbeck is completing 52% of his passes for 5 TD's and 10 INT with a rating of 57.8. You have no passing game.

Julius Jones is rushing for 4.4 yards a carry with 2 TD's. Over the last 3 week's he's been less than stellar. You've got no rushing game.

Defensively teams are putting up 26 points, and 387 yards (of which 122 rushing) a game on you. You've sacked the QB 26 times. You've got no pass rush or rush stopping ability.

I can't see how the Pats commit 5 turnovers in this game with any lack of pressure. We played poorly and still rushed 120+ yards on Pittsburgh.

Pats should win, and win easily.

"Ripe for the Pickin"? Now where have we heard that before..:singing:

And dude, The Pats are 7-5 now. So the Seahawks knocking them down to .500 is impossible.
Admittedly, the Seahawks could send them on their way, though.
Somehow I don't think that will happen.

I would say that seahawks would be happy with mediocrity at this point. I would say you guys are right below mediocrity somewhere around sucking.
