My "If-We-Don't-Make-It" Holiday Wish List...

1-We need to do something with our secondary in 09. I can't believe that we have had this problem for 4 years. It's unacceptable.
2-Cassel needs to go. I don't care where he goes.
3-TB perfect health.
4-I want to see a ring in 09. I'm tired of waiting.

So you think the Pats will win the SB this season?

And if you think you're tired of waiting, take a scan around the NFL. We could go another 10 years and not be out of it nearly as long as some of our (lesser) counterparts.

Now go play with your Legos.

1. Richard Seymour re-negotiate his contract down to something that is on par with his performance.

2. James Sanders replaced via FA or the draft (he's the major problem in the 3rd and long conversions and is never, ever around the football).

3. BB start to manage the clock alot better than he has shown, take a class from Manning/Dungy on the art of before the half and end of the game clock management.

4. A trade up for Malcolm Jenkins (packaging our #1 and SD's #2)

Did you watch the Colts-Browns game yesterday? The Colts look very beatable to me...but then, they did when the Pats played them and we all saw how that worked out.

Yes, I watched them steal another victory from the jaws of defeat. The Colts are maddening. They should have lost a bunch of games, but they haven't, so I'm not counting on them to go down. I think we are fighting either for the division or the 6th wild card spot (with the Colts taking the 5th). Frankly, with all the tie breakers we lose, it's probably "easier" to win the division (ha).

well..remember we used to win games like that . 9-6 against the browns in fact ? a win is a win. they lost brackett during the game. still their D scored the winning TD.
The play better RZ D than our team which is one thing enough to keep them in the games.

are you serious ? dungy and clock management ?just because BB has made mistakes this season ? talk about knee jerk reactions vs looking at the body of work :(

My simple wish list is a non-all-manning SB....

Also if it comes down to the jest and the giants....i will probably want to gouge my eyeballs out.....

If we don't make it, or have an early exit, these playoffs will be dreadful. I initially felt acceptance of us maybe not contending for this year, but then I thought - Who would you be 'alright' with winning if it's not us?

1) Bucs
2) Cardinals
3) Falcons
4) Panthers
5) Titans

Yeah, I'll probably be rooting for the NFC this year, even if it's the Giants.

i was talking about 'next' season.

So you were serious with your previous post?? Seriously, stop being a spoiled brat. Newsflash, we're not going to win the Super Bowl every year. Teams are lucky to win one a decade.

If we don't make it, i wish the Jets all the bad luck in the world and if they should by some miracle win the Superbowl, i hope my house blows up before the end of the game :D

That's my list as well. I just want the SB winner to be of the forgettableTampa '02 or Baltimore '00 variety. And given how the SB tends to alternate from Great SB to Bad
SB, hopefully this year is a bad SB.

Let's go Titans-Panthers!

That's right - I forgot about the "All NY, All the time" possibility. I'll have to add that as a "NO" on my holiday wish list!!

Brett and his new pet Rat will choke....they always do
I will never give up on my boys!!!!
BB likes the playoff more than any other coach
WHO WANTS IT MORE!!!

2) Please Santa, do not stick the masses with a Manning vs. Manning Superbowl. Upon further review, I would rather see the Jets in the Superbowl than Goober 1 vs. Goober 2, although both scenarios would choke me and make me question my NFL fandom.

I'd love to see a Manning bowl if it were to go something like this.

Peyton Manning threw his 4th interception of the game which was returned 59 yards for a touchdown to tie the the game at 10-10, with just 1:48 left in a Super Bowl which surely ranks as the most inept ever. On the ensuing kickoff the Giants kick returner fumbles the ball at the 15 which luckily the Giants recover. Disaster strikes again on the next play though as Eli Manning fumbles the snap from the shotgun formation, and watches as it bounces over his shoulder into the end zone, where he barely reaches the ball in time before a pursuing Colts defender to score the points which hand a 2nd Super Bowl ring to his big brother.

Now that would be funny !

Hell, look at the Pats-Colts game from this year. If the Pats had won, we'd be talking about how the Colts screwed up the clock at the end of the first half.
