We'll be looking at a draft pick in the mid teens

I'll take that any day over a wild card loss in the first round

what the hell kind of fan are you???go read your street and smith draft guide and leave us alone

I'm a fan with the team's best long-term interests in mind

Clean the old guys off this team, draft well and get things headed back in the right direction rather than trying to hold onto past glory from the dynasty days

a couple of slots in a crap shoot draft doesnt make a difference in a team, you start rooting for them to loose , youll end up like detroit, what happened to them with all thier high number ones?? a true fan roots for them every game and lets the draft settle after

This needs to go to the PSquad forum...putrid....

you all know I'm right

time to admit it

Or we could win out and play in January, screw the draft pick.

I wonder if all of your 112 posts are gems like this. If you want your team to play for draft picks, go root for the Lions. The Giants were a Wild Card team last year. So were the Steelers in the 2005 season. Once the playoffs start, anything can happen.

yeah Robo, they're going to win it all with their 3rd stringers out there

half the team is on IR
get a clue

Yeah, he has been posting stupid a$s sh!t like this all season. He doesn't actually like the Patriots, he's just on the bandwagon.

Briz made a post like this yesterday that got moved to the PS, which I expect will also happen here. Too bad that won't stop these wastes of skin from posting the same damn thing next week.

If you are interested in rooting for a team based on their potential draft position, the Lions are looking for fans.

he doesn't even get his facts straiight PRACTICE SQUAD FORUM!!!!!! It's needed on this one as well..

Go away! No one needs your BS.

And in the 2006 season, people said that the Colts had no shot to win the Super Bowl with the worst run defense in NFL history.

I would rather win the division and keep the Jets out of the playoffs, than worry about a couple spots in next years draft.

I can not watch and hope for losses under any circumstances.

the jets are getting a wild card at the least
you're not gonna keep them out of the playoffs

Calvin Johnson is a good player

You're not a fan. You're an idiot who thinks that Madden is a accurate simulation of what goes on in real life. You are clueless about so many things when it comes to football.

LOSING 3 of the next 4 isn't going to help the long term interests of this team. That is actually short term thinking, not long term.

Please re-read three times and consider posting elsewhere. This site is for fans who wnat the team to win. Many were fans when we rooted for the team to win games even though losing would get us the first pick in the draft. This team is about one game at a time, as it has been for 30 years. I want professional teams to try their best to win, especially my team.

What you want would result in all but 4 or 5 teams trying to lose rather than win. There are many ways to express what most of us think of that attitude. The gentlest is that you are not a patriots fan.

A patriot fan roots for the team to win games, not draft choices. And yes, there are circumstances where the indivudal game might be less important that the rest of the season, so a player has to be kept out; but that is all about THIS season.

I presume that you were rooting for the team to lose in 2001. If you were a Giant you would have been rooting for them to lose for most of last year.

And to be perfectly clear, I would much rather be in the playoffs as a wildcard that get a bit better draft position.

I want draft picks over winning in 2008

Why does it matter if they can sneak into the wild cart spot, play their third stringers, and lose in the first, or, if they're really lucky, second round?

Isn't the ultimate goal the super bowl?

You really think they can beat the titans and giants in a big pressure filled game with no secondary and matt cassel?

I'm glad the young guys are getting good experience, but hopefully they lose more than they win for the last 4 games and can move up a little bit in the draft
