Oakland and Seattle could have a month and it will not matter.

seattle has a decent passing attack and with our secondary its always a challenge. donno about their defense.

Seattle is 2-10 , they suck.

Re: Interesting scheduling quirk

Yes. It all goes to show that people who were whining about the Pats "easy" schedule are idiots who don't know how to properly analyze it.

yah its sad, i read that in the globe last week and too bad it worked out that way . . .

Oddities of schedule...10 days for 3 teams to prepare??

ust thought it odd that Pitts...Seatrle an dOak ALL have 10 days to prepare before they play the Pats...seemed weird....thoughts??

If you mean crappy, you are right. Since Hasselbeck he has had a 170 yard, 1 TD, and 3 INT day vs. the Cards; 103 yards, 2 TD, and 2 INT day vs. the Redskins; and 287 yard, 0 TD, and 1 INT game vs. the Cowboys. Seattle may have the worst passing attack the Pats will face the rest of the way.

The Seahawks this year are a mess. They have no offense and no defense. If the Pats lose to them, they have no business in the post season.

Agreed. Especially since they're the first of the back to backs. Looking at San Diego overall this year, we probably should have beaten them earlier, but I think we were a bit fatigued from being on the road for two straight weeks.

Not saying that'll happen with Oakland, but if you told me we were going to lose one of these games I'd pick that one over the Seahawks.

You Jets fans are always slamming our Patriot's players. Bet you Jets fans hate Cassel too first for beating Lord Favre and then for running up 400 yds on your D.

I don't know if Hasselbeck could have a field day with me covering Branch all day. The Seahawks have a horrible passing game. They have the 31st ranked passing offense and 25th ranked scoring offense (averaging 216 passing yards and 18 PPG). The Pats aren't playing the Seahawks offense of two years ago, they are playing the miserable passing offense of this year.

In fact, the Pats fact the two worst passing offenses in the league on this back to back West Coast trip.

I know you are negative by nature (or a faux Pats fan), but please at least know the facts before you comment.

LOL! A Jets fan pretending to be a Pats fan making fun of the Pats' defense. The Jets' pass defense aspires to be the Pats' pass defense. As bad as the Pats' pass defense is, the Jets' are worse.

I think the San Deigo game had a lot to do with the Chargers players dedicating the 8 months before on one single focus - to beat the Pats. They approached that game as if it was a playoff game or even the Super Bowl. They seemed to be more concerned going into the season in making sure they don't lose that game over being a legitimate playoff team. I think they expected the latter as a given.

The problem this year for the Pats (well, one of them) is that, even without Brady, many of the opposing teams looked at the Pats' game as statement games. The Chargers, Jets, Dolphins, and Steelers all looked at the game to get over the hump of beating the Pats even if it was an empty win because beating the Pats without Brady isn't like beating them with Brady. Not making the injury excuse, but if the Pats beat the Colts without Manning, would it really that much to any of us than beating them with Manning?

im not a jets fan and have been a patriots fan longer than youve probably been around , my eyes dont lie, the d sucks, if you would like to live in the past and believe this is a d like the championship years thats your choice, put your rose colored glasses on

You may not be a troll, but you post like one, because you are ridiculing people on the basis that if they don't agree with you the D sucks then they must think it's championship caliber. That's ridiculous, noone believes the D isn't worse than a few years ago but that's the not the same thing as sucking. Your statement isn't much different than saying "since the Patriots lost the SB last year, they are no better than the 1-15 team in 1990." Which is of course ridiculous, there are many gradations in between.

can we stop whining like jets fans. yes its a little unfair, but 7 days is long enough.

Maybe Seattle and Oakland can be confidence boosters for our secondary:rolleyes:
