The whole team should be ashamed.

Totally agree. There was a lot of talk by the Patriots leading up to this game and they did NOT back it up at all.

It was the worst game I seen in years. No Excuses for them.

First half was OK (except the series right before halftime).

Second half was unspeakable.

Well we got a bad game out of the way, only bonus is the jets lost.

We have to win our remaining games, and get healthier.

How many bad games out of the way could we afford???

Miami

San Diego???

The Pitt game was there to be had, but we gave the game away.... because our young QB got too much of a big head.

Playoffs are we need to win out now.. and the jets lose one game buf or miami.. But this team has major flaws on defense.. season if your hope is the super bowl is just about over.

That is just a rediculous comment.....bordering on assinine. Young QB got too much of a big head? What game were you watching?

1. Missed FG at end of half.
2. 2 Ole' blocks by Light lead to sack/fumbles
3. 2 big time drops by Moss
4. Ben "Hands of Stone" Watson can't catch one in his hands and tips it for int.
5. Fumble on the kickoff recovered by Pittsburgh
6. Jabar Gaffney drops another ball

oh yeah.....Cassell's big head cost them.

In all honesty, that is one of the more stupid comments I have read here in years. I will chalk it up to you just venting.....I know, and hope, you wouldn't actually be thinking what you wrote in saner moments. That is the type of comment pathetic Jet fans make after a loss.

Well the steelers ran the ball well on us, both QB got similar throwing stats, the turn overs hurt us the most, and the butterfingers by our WR.

i give all my propz to faulk today he is the only player that showed any heart..i just dont understand how you can let a team abuse you that bad in one half..hopefully someone steps up & leads the team

+1 to Faulk comments. Just a great and gutsy game by him.

Oh please.. your probably the same person that defended the defense.. the defense put Cassel in bad spots.. and Moss drops did not help... But Matt Cassel did not play a great game.. The team is not going anywhere with this defense..

They played a tough first half...with many miscues..WHICH could have given them the lead..then it was...well bad...

Giving that doofas Roethisberger 8 seconds in the pocket sure didnt help either

I don't think Matt Cassel's ego had anything to do with his poor play.
I think that he did revert back to his early season form for this game. He had lots of company stinking out the joint as you
mentioned.

I give the coaching staff an F for using Slater on a kickoff return on such
a rainy night when Faulk was available.

Again this loss was not all on Matt Cassel... But Tom Brady wins this game folks.. The Defense let the team down in the second half.. and at the end of the first half.

Let me be the first to start the Matt Light move to RT and draft a stud LT talk right now!

Dunno Sean, me boy. Brady was oft victimized by strip sacks. Brady lost the AFCCG when Reche dropped the ball. The QB can't field KOs, catch the ball (Moss, Watson & Gaffney take note), protect the blindside (even though Cassel needed to sense the 2nd strip sack & step up) and stop Rthlsbrgr's wobbly throws on 3rd and long. Brady can do NONE of those things. We lose irrespective of the QB. I'm not denying that Cassel had a poor outing.

Ghost of Ben Drieth just said it all. The focus will be on Cassel but really IMO he deserves to be waaaaaaaay down the blame list. The defense is awful. The secondary is a disgrace. I hate to say this but Bruschi and Vrabel have both lost way MORE than one step. They are shells of what they once were. This was destined to be a close game until Slater handed Pitt a two score lead on a platter. That was just plain pathetic. Matt Light continues to prove he is just good and he will struggle with any dominant speed rusher. if Moss catches that ball in the first quarter they are probably 14-0 and it is a differeent game. If he catches the ball at they half they go in up 17-10 and it is a different game. And oh yeah Ben STONEHANDS Watson continues to prove he is an average TE at best. I mean seriously has he ever caught a ball that he wasn't supposed to catch or that was not right in his bread basket.
