I know this sounds like an awkward question, but...

If you guys beat the Steelers this weekend, do you think they'll just be angry and hungry with a big sense of urgency going into the game with my team next weekend? Or after going through a very physical matchup, and a loss, with you guys, that they could be drained a bit going into next weekend?

Like I said-I know this sounds like an awkward question, but I am still contemplating on who I should root for, b/c if they win, then MAYBE they won't have this big sense of urgency going into next weekend?

What do you guys think?

When ever the pats and ssteelers play its a hard hitting physical game. And if the steelers lose it could be a little demoralizing for them. They would have to be thinking that they can never beat us. Either way the steelers will be banged up.

If I'm a Dallas fan I'd root for Pittsburgh. Baltimore is right behind them so a loss here makes your game huge for the Steelers.

I hope you guys can beat both Baltimore and Pittsburgh, it will help us out a great deal.

It could really go either way, if Pitt beats the Pats they will be headed into your game with more confidence, if they lose to the Pats they could be headed into your game with a lil less confidence but more motivation and desparation to win. So theres pros and cons to each side if you think about it.

if there arent any injuries..it wont mean much. every game is different.

So in other words, root for Wilfork to belly-flop onto Big Ben this week. :D

well no. i wouldnt root for injuries but i think the pitt D will be a handful for dallas anyway considering they dont play each other often . TO complained of press coverage a while back, wait till he faces polamalu.

Why don't you root for your Dad to stop touching your sister?

Sorry, but it it is a dumb question.

And I can't believe a true Dallas fan would ever root for the Steelers. I certainly would never root for the Cowgals

What? What if a Steelers win meant that the 'Boys made the playoffs? Would your head explode?

Pretty much it would explode, but that isn't the situation here. he's asing about the mental makeup of a team coming off a win vs a loss. the whole premise is ridiculous.

I think you believe your team is inferior to the Steelers, and are hoping for something to happen so that the best team doesn't win and your team does. Grow a pair and just believe your team can beat the Steelers, and stop placing your hope in stats like your opponent doesn't do well after loses to team with an R in them on rainy afternoon games in odd numbered weeks.

The Steelers have played the toughest schedule I have EVER seen on paper - is there a great team that DIDN'T make it onto their schedule?
When you play the Ravens twice a year, you get used to getting banged up for upcoming weeks. Personally, I think Dallas has it coming and I'd love to see Pittsburgh wipe that silly grin off Romo's face.

Granted, but it did not merit your disgusting reply.
