So now that we are into the "flex schedule" portion of the year does anyone know where to go about finding out what, if any, games were flexed? haha I know they have to announce it atleast 12 days prior, so this coming Sundays game would have had to been announced already (5 days ago Tuesday) but I have no idea where to find out if anything has been changed or not. Does the NFL release that information every Tuesday in the same place whether they flex it or not or is it more a "if we dont announce it assume it goes through as scheduled"? Thanks for any insight...

Re: Flex Scheduling Q

hahaha boy this is a slightly long story.. let me give you the short version haha ......... In the earlier days of the patsfans.com universe I was here helping Ian out a lot and agreed to become a mod .. this would have been, hmmm... 8 years ago or so.. then for a few years I regrettably wasnt around as much, life getting in the way lol (no I wasnt incarcerated or anything ;) ).. my screenname and moderator status carried over which is why my post count is so low - most of my moderator work came pre-2004 Anyway thats my story.. :)

Re: Flex Scheduling Q

....but no pressure or anything ;) lol

Re: Flex Scheduling Q

Done. (furiously knocking on wood hahahahaha) But anyway..... Any ideas on the flex? The Pats/Steelers game hasnt been affected or we would have heard about it already... but I cant imagine they would leave the Pats/Seahawks game in that primetime slot haha.

Re: Flex Scheduling Q

The league must announce a change in the schedule 12 days before the scheduled game. In addition, each network can protect five games a season from being switched to the Sunday Night game of the week. Since the NE / PIT game was already scheduled as the 4:15 game of the week which can be bumped as well), my guess CBS blocked the gane at the start of the season.

I expect the NFL will annouce NE / Seattle is being bumped to 4:15 later on Tuesday. My guess is the game will be replaced with Dallas / Pittsburgh. I would noy be shocked if AZ / NE in week 16 moves to Sunday night

After Cassel's second 400 yard game, they may want to keep him in prime time...as would he probably.....

Now if they could only flex out the turkey of a game this Thursday,,Ari @ Phl...

depends , if arizona has already won the division and locked in the seeding, they might even not play their starters so...it might not happen. i personally dont like the night games. 1pm works just fine.

Re: Flex Scheduling Q

Yeah I prefer the afternoon games so was excited when I realized they would more than likely bump us from that Sunday night.. wouldnt want AZ to turn into a night game but atleast that would be a short work week to get through haha

Re: Flex Scheduling Q

What is next Sunday's night game??

Re: Flex Scheduling Q

its offical we are flexed out of that game against the seahags...

I think its Buf and Miami for that game.. I think Fox protects the Dallas vs Pitt..

I dont think we will be in prime time the rest of the yr unless the buff game means something at the end of the yr..

Dec 20th Ari vs New England will stay the same, Pitt vs Tenn will be the Flex game as SD vs Tampa is the flex game on nbc..

great a flex that works better for the fans and players it sucks waiting for pats football all sunday

I understand people liking the early games, but it's not such a good thing if you're stuck in hell,,,,,I mean Titans country :D
I would prefer all games be primetime so I can see them. Watching a game on the internet really sucks, and then having to go and download it the next day.

Based on the title of this thread.... Has this game officially been changed to a 4:05 Game?

Or is this just speculation at this point?

I see NFL.com still has it as the SNF game.
NFL Schedule: Regular Season

EDIT:
its offical we are flexed out of that game against the seahags...
Hey Sean....where did you hear this? I don't doubt you, but I just want to confirm it before I email some people since we are going to this game.
