I don't know why I thought about this trade offer but what if SF offered a first and Patrick Willis for Tom Brady? Would you take it? What about a first, a third, and Willis?

From SF's point of view, would they even consider this offer to be realistic?

No. Tom Brady won us 3 Super Bowls and there's no reason to think he can't win us a few more.

Wow, I didn't think the response would be this bad so quickly! :D

aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus! A month and a half ago, people wanted the Pats to sign Daunte Culpepper and bench Cassel. Now they want to keep Cassel and trade Brady. Stop!

If Brady was 2-3 years older, I might consider it. But Brady has arguably 5-7 more years left in his career. Too early to trade him away when he is still the best football player on the planet.

Ok, that's a no then right? hahaha

WTF ?...move to practice squad please...

Hey, I did say hypothetical. There's so many threads out there about what we'd get for Cassel, so I wanted to get opinions also about what you guys might trade Brady for, assuming you would even ever trade him.

i am 100% in agreement...such a great idea...

you are pure genius reincarnated...

i also think they can now get rid of Scott Pioli and hire you to be the VP of player personnel for the team...awesome!

You are obviously no Bob Kraft

No...no...I'm not Bob Kraft.

I'm but a typical DUMB ARSE that agree with someone that thinks the Patriots should trade Tom Brady (the face of the franchise) to another team...

There is a price for everyone. If we were offered Willis and SF's next 10 #1 picks we would have to do it. The question is, what is the point that you would do it; just for fun.

Peter King suggested the Patriots wouldn't do it for Barrett Ruud and two #1s. Turn Ruud into Willis and move those #1s up . . .

Brady for Willis, a high #1 this year and an unknown #1 next year. Mayo and Willis in the middle. Draft one of the top ten studs in this draft, there's some DBs, OT that make me drool.

I'm not saying I'd do it - but I'd be REAL tempted. And this thread can be just for fun.

So should Brady put his house up for sale or not?:D Asking people to come up with trades to get rid of my favorite player isnt really fun.

Nah, the trade would be TOO big. It's fun to talk about what your realistic price would be though. And to imagine Willis and Mayo in the middle.
