Theres speculation going around that Bill Cowher will be the next Browns coach..which would mean Romeo gets the boot. What are the chances that he comes back and accepts DC position? What are your thoughts?

Personally..i'd love to have him back

I'm guessing he'd retire on Randy Lerner's dime. But I'd love to have him back.

that would be fantastic!

hey, Weis is drowning at ND...........its nice to dream....

I'm not going to dream about Charlie getting fired. I'm rooting for him to make it there.

Romeo will do whatever is best for him financially. His Browns contract is (probably) literally the majority of his lifetime earnings to date.

My guess is that Romeo sits out next year or goes down to Miami or to the Jets. I would love to have Romeo back because I think he is a defensive mind one step below Belichick, but I don't see that happening.

The Patriots already have a defensive coordinator.

Romeo wouldn't have to come back as a defensive coordinator if he came back. Belichick came back to the Pats when Al Groh was still the DC. Capers is here with Pees as the DC.

I don't neccessarily think Pees should be fired, but I would consider Romeo an upgrade at the position. I wouldn't just fire Pees unless you could upgrade the DC position. I don't see it happening anyway.

he is much more friendly with mangini so he will end up with the jets most likely or wherever josh mcdaniels goes.
