One possible option: The NFL would play year-round. Bill Parcells would be the team equipment manager. Belichick would be commissioner and Bob Kraft would be the Pats' star running back. Marshall Faulk would be a transvestite drug smuggler, and Tom Brady would be president-elect. The Jets would be 0-10 with Brett Favre riding the bench and Tubby Ratfink looking for a job.

Feel free to add your own scenarios for the latest episode of, "Where Would We Be Now If ... ?"

Yeah, I hear you, they're pretty irrelevant. I like the ones that examine possible FA/trade scenarios (who'd have thought Randy was really possible) but the going back in time is lame.

We would be in all the infinite possibilities.:)

If we were in a parallel universe, we'd be over there --------------------->

<---------------------- No we would be over there.

This ******ed thread wouldn't exist

Or, it would be a sticky! (In case you didn't notice, this thread is a sarcastic response to the other nonsensical, speculative "where would we be" threads.)

Can I get some parallel universe cheerleader poon out of this?

PS, and NOT THE NAZI ONE!

I read "The Monkey's Paw." I know how that stuff works...

Is parking different in a parallel universe?

Probably. Either that, or you wouldn't want any and all the smart homely girls with great personalities would snub you.

In a parallel universe Belichick and Parcells would be one coach named Parcellichek. ESPN would say over and over again how he's never won a big game without himself.

The Byzantines had a general named Belisarius... Pretty good, too, at least according to his scribe, Procopius... hmmm..

General's name starts with B..

His scribe's name starts with P....

Belisarius conquered the Lombards!

Belichick, Pioli, Lombardi trophy!

OMG!!!!! History repeats itself!

Heh... a competent historian can make any set of coincidences, however contrived, seem inevitable and of some importance :)

Take THAT parallel universe man!
