I picked up a copy of it and viewed it last evening.Disc 1 has some good stuff and some things that I haven't seen going all the way back to 1960.Disc 2 is all stuff that We've seen recently although I really enjoyed the piece on Foxboro Stadium. My favorite part of all is the fact that Don Shula is still pissed at Mark Henderson and Ron Meyer! Priceless !

Sounds like it's a good DVD, I'm trying to find time to watch mine. Did you get a Pats helmet fathead with your copy?

Mine did come with a fathead ! I put it up in My Patriots Shrine !

do they all come with a Phat head or is there a more expensive one that comes with it?

A Fat Head is something that is missing from My pops football den. I was planning on getting him one for Chunaka (never could spell that right) but if this comes with one I can get him some bobble heads he doesn't have.

I got a coupon for a Pats helmet fathead lol :)

The DVD's awesome, especially the older highlights and commentaries, but disc 2 also has a segment and interview with the strength and conditioning coach Mike Woicik. He apparently hates the limelight so it's a pretty entertaining watch:)

I can't wait for the 2007 and/or the 16-0 to come out :singing:

I cant enjoy watching any of my tapes from the 2007 season. Its, for me, the same way i cant see anything on JFK without thinking of the ending.

I can watch a regular season game from 1994 or something, despite not winning it all, but last year is still very unenjoyable for me.

I would of thought the 16-0 DVD would of been out by now. Maybe there waiting for the off-season to do it.

The "off season" already passed. Don't think they would wait for a subsequent off season if they were going to do it at all.

they may just be waiting for the sting to die down

:agree: Good point SBB. There's probably still quite a few people who aren't quite ready yet and some who even consider 07 to be a "lost season".

i think i will buy it expecially for the first part

Italian Pat Patriot,I recommend that You get a copy. You will enjoy it very much and it will give You a great deal of information about the early days of The Patriots.
It also treats Your first Patriots' Hero Tony Eason very kindly. It also does justice to the days at Schaeffer Stadium. I's a "Must Own" DVD for all Patriots Fans.I really enjoyed seeing the films of my early heroes,Jim Plunkett,Steve Grogan,Sam Cunningham,Darryl Stingley ,Stanley Morgan, and Mike Haynes. You'll really enjoy it.

i will take it and i am happy that Eason was threated well; you are correct: he was my first hero so many many years ago when only via the newspapers i was informed about the New England Patriots and the first Super Bowl run

I enjoyed watching it overall but they did not even mention Troy Brown stripping Mccree in 2006 and they did not show Troy's punt return in Pittsburgh, they did interview Troy where he admitted he always hated Pittsburgh the most throughout his younger years.

The end of that 1st disk covered the whole 2007 season, not sure what a few of you are talking about.

There were a couple omissions that I thought clearly needed a mention. The ones You mentioned and I think the day Bob Gladieux was called out of the crowd in 1970 and the best game of the 1970's at Foxboro a Patriots win in 1978 over The Killer Bees Dolphins a 34-31 game. This is not a complaint since I enjoyed it but just a few additions I would have added.

it would hv been nice to see it-i agree

Italiian Pat Patriot,You would have fit right in with the crowd "Back in the Day".It was wild and it was zanny. Some days the Team would do wild and unexpected things on other days the crowd picked up the slack.People on this board like NEM,Jimke, and Me were all Young guys who loved football and fun and the stadium was filled with guys just like Us that made Foxboro Stadium a tough place for visiting teams. The Old Stadium was a dump but it was Our Home Field and the crowd turned the place into an advantage for The Patriots.

i agree, i would have loved to be there with you on those days; i would have liked a lot to see some games before i was able to come (2005)

so i have seen only Gillette Stadium and not the Foxboro-Schaefer-Sullivan one

pity...

but i need to buy that DVD

how much time they dedicate to the past ? 1 hour ?
