It's easy, and only takes a few moments. This is what i was asking in another thread, why not just line up say mayo across from pennington and as soon as the ball is snapped smack him down. The play might gain some yards but it would make them think twice about using it again if it puts the QB in danger.
The whole premise of this thread makes no sense.
What would Randy Moss think if Sean Ellis or even Kris Jenkins lined up across from him with the intention of knocking him down?
He would LOL.
Chad is a big guy, 6'5" 240lbs. wearing pads and a helmet, short of going kung foo on his ass, how do you expect to deliver a blow that would actually hurt him?
Chad ain't going to line up at WR and say " Oh hello there Mr Mayo I think I will take you on straight up".
People have this idea that QBs are wimpy or fragile, there not, they are football players, as tough and athletic as anyone on the field.
ya... this from mr roboto pennington. you suggest the guy has never been injured.

You don't need to tell me about Chad sinjury history QB's by nature of there position leave themselves vulnerable to get hurt.
But Chad would be playing WR rather then QB, and were not talking about him leaving his feet going up in the air over the middle to catch a pass.
yeah we're talking about engaging a LB and his nice shoulder being yanked on or driven into the ground.

Then you are talking about cheating, and yes that would work, my bad, I thought we were talking about a legal play.
I would be down for that. It might cost us in the short term, as BB said, but the quarterback for one would not be okay with lining up at receiver and number two, would probably get a case of the happy feet in the pocket after that.
