I think myself and all others who had absolutely no confidence in Cassel despite the 6 wins thought he was just in there for managing the offense but now he has taken it in the past 3 weeks to another level and is now IN CHARGE and is driving the Bus,he is no longer just in the front passenger seat

You don't throw the ball 50 times if you are just in to manage the offense and maybe the runnig game being decimated by injury may not have been for the better of the team right now but it has helped Cassel's confidence in realizing its up to him now to carry the team and should be good for his career now and in the future and hopefully will be good for this team for the remainder of his time here in New England.

I am still not confident that this team will make the playoffs,In fact 2 of 3 losses in the past 3 games has me worried but I am confident that its not going to be Cassel as QB as the reason why we don't make the playoffs,If we don't it will be because the TEAM could not get it done and Cassel's supporting cast is not doing enough or trying hard enough...

No longer IMO will it be for the reason that its the Quarterback,Cassel is doing his part

Others need to have the fire he has right now,if they had the fire Matt has, this team would not lose a game the rest of the season

Who, in your opinion, are the top three that need a match?

I think either Tight End have underachived in most games or made mistakes that have affected the score one way or another

Vrabel who is not as consistent with pressure from the outside as his usual self the past few years

James Sanders needs to pick it up and seems late to get to the receiver and when he does get in on a play, he is usually just piling on top

Whoever starts opposite Hobbs needs to step up as well

How do you feel about Gaffney? A couple more drops last nite...

Despite what some folks around here might say, I think Josh McDaniels is driving that bus, too. McD definitely deserves some credit. And not to take anything away from Matt Cassel who has been brilliant, but Randy Moss is another huge reason for the offense's success. The entire offensive gameplan - and the Jets response to that gameplan - was based upon the fact that 2 defenders were allocated to Moss the entire game.

Hobbs needs to find the ball earlier when running down field with his back to the QB. He has been consistently toasted on the long ball. This is a serious deficit in a CB.

Oh crap... BB knew what he was doing all along? :D

Gaffney has had drops but he has made some nice ones as well - The tight ends just seem lackadaisical to me most of the time regarding the offensive side.

We have trains in Boston and I would like to see Cassel expand his route to Florida.
