Was rocking last night. Made me very proud. Even when the game looked like a blow out, they stayed in it. And down the stretch it was the loudest I've ever heard it at Gillette (until the end, of course). My throat hurts today from screaming like a little girl all night.

It really was a VERY loud crowd.........did your Dad survive??

On to Miami & Pittsburgh with two must win games in a row now.

Have a nice flight back PJ.

Oh my god, my dad was screaming louder than anyone. Luckily he didn't have a heart attack. I nearly did.

You're right, these next 2 games are THE games.

Have a nice flight back PJ.
Thanks alot. I head back tomorrow morning.

Amazingly, i never got rained on the whole night from start to finish. it just didnt rain. turned into a perfect football night.

It seemed extremely loud on TV

I can barely talk today I screamed so loud. The crowd did a good job. Would have been unbelievably loud in a more sound-friendly stadium. Gillette just leaks crowd noise.

I think it leaked it into my tv. It was gloriously loud, especially at the end--until the very end.

Btw, I was pleasantly surprised that I could watch the game here in W. MA. on channel 10 on Comcast.

That's great! The crowd noise actually translated to TV too :) Good job Pats fans:rocker:

Have a smooth trip home PJ!

We could hear you guys all the way in Canada... Wait, that was me and my buddies screaming at the tv. Damn it that was a disapointing lost after that come-back.

Night games are a bit different -- more young people. I don't have a voice left either.

Gomer took my bag, (take every time with camera equipment)
I can carry it all, but had to leave the bag
Not my first rodeo, but I got hasseled this time, even pulled me out and we CHATTED about it for a while
figured his swinging d*ck was not worth loosing my great seat so I shut up....after a while

My "search" was a joke. The guy basically passed me through.

Same here. And the guy concentrated on the crotch area for some reason. Why he had me search him there is beyond me.

Major props for all fans attending last night's bad weather mid-week night game. You done good!

The loud crowds are there for a reason unfortunately. When Brady went down, the lobster dinner guys sold their tickets to the Applebees crowd. Last night's crowd reminded me a little of the snow bowl crowd. Very very loud!

The weather may have narrowed the crowd playing field a bit too. Muffy and Buffster wouldn't enjoy a rainy night:rolleyes: The good news is as the weather deteriorates more tix/better seats might become more available to the die hards.

I think you're on to something here. The arrests and ejections were up, from what I saw. Even the lots were "spirited" before and after the game. There was even a fairly decent fireworks display before the game by the Pro-shop. :D

watching the game on tv the crowd seemed quite. then again nfl net. audio and video were awful so were was that papa dude.

I hear ya PJ. The place was rockin and I also am hoarse.

Lots of Jets fans there last night too.

At one point a younger guy in a suit came walking up the stairs and looked around as if he were looking for somebody, this was in 304 at the very top. A few guys started yelling that the Luxury boxes weren't up there. I yelled "Sorry no red seats up here!" Fun night as usual.

That was the most people I've seen stay until the end of a game in a long time. The bridge over Rt 1 was blocked by the cops for pedestrians. It was shoulder to shoulder people going over it. First time I've seen the bridge blocked.

We were in the lot by the bridge, under the Bob's sign. We got out within a half hour.

While Gillette stadium is no metrodome, arrowhead or Qwest, it is no worst at holding in noise than most of the other new stadiums in fact it is probably better than many, (At least we have one closed end have you seen Adelphia in Tennessee). The days of oddly designed stadiums that are uncomfortable but hold in noise are over the problems gillette has at holding in noise are shared by pretty much every other new stadium one way or the other.

Last night the crowd was deafening loud and rocking it just proves a poitn I have been arguing on this board since I joined. Just like the playoff games last year, the San Diego game last year, The Denver game this year, The Pittsburgh game last year, when the fans at Gillette make noise it is a great home field advantage. Last night the crowd was GREAT! It was a college atmosphere. Too bad we couldn't pull it out. Triple Thumbs Up to the crowd!

And there was ABSOLUTELY NOT a lot of Jets fans in fact I hardly saw any there were more Broncos fans. I was actually amazed at how few jets fans there was considerign how close we are to each other.
