I am not nearly disapointed after a big loss like this like I should be. In fact, I am kinda encouraged especially for the young guys. I still think the Pats can still win the division. Granted their margin for error has gone to next to nil.

Not me. I'm devastated. I haven't felt this way since... well, since the Sox came back just to lose in Game 7 this year. I can't concentrate on anything else right now. I hate football...

Maybe if it were to a random team I would agree. But the fact that we didn't put our best effort forth against the effing Jets hurts bad.

Then maybe you should leave... It's not a sport for the faint of heart.

The JETS next travel to Tennessee in case anyone wonders...

Exactly, and a win over Miami puts us in the same position.

Yeah, the division race is far from over at this point.

iam bummed, just because it was a close loss..getting blown out with warren, thomas out wouldve been a little understable for me.:(
we are now 2-2 in the div and the jets are 3and 1 and they have played all their road div games.a win like this can really boost a team. i frankly expected the pats to pull this out and lose in miami to the wildcats. now that game becomes make or break.

I'm encouraged because we played a decent team and lost for no reason other than out self induced screw ups. If we were outplayed I would be upset. I'll take my chances we won't continue to self destruct the rest of the year and into the future.

We should always control our own destiny, no matter how you cut it.. The loss hurts.. But Im proud of how this team showed heart... We may finish at 9-7 but people were writing us off.. . Once Brady went down we knew the super bowl was going to be tough.. I was hoping for the division and see what happens.. Im very pleased about Matt Cassel and jerod Mayo.. But others on the d, third and 15 gawd.. But with out AD, Ty Rodney and others Im proud of this team and always will be.

I'm disappointed, but I really liked the way the team fought back from a huge hole and really had a good chance to win at the end.

Mayo is an awesome player. I haven't been this excited about a Pats draft pick in a long time.

Cassel showed some real heart in the 2nd half - he's a good QB. I hope he finds his deep ball touch soon, however.

There's a lot to be optimistic about, but it's going to be a tough road to the playoffs from here. Hopefully we can get on a roll for the next few weeks and find a way in.

Its good you think positive about the patriots and more fans need to be like you and stop calling positive fans like me crazy cause I think this pats team can win the super bowl if the defense improves.

I feel the same way. Never in a million years did I think we'd be in this position, not after Brady went down. I'm grateful for every win and I'm psyched each time they go out there and show improvement. We came soooo close with just our backup QB and basically a rookie defense. The season's far from over, and as we found out tonight ANYTHING can happen:eek:

The biggest positive for me is that I've got MUCH more confidence in Matt's ability to lead a big comeback, something which I wasn't too sure about. I figured we'd come back from a deficit yes but I really wasn't sure we could make up as much ground as we did. That's a HUGE plus in my book.

I feel the same way, Im really gonna be excited next year when we have a full team back and these rookies have a year under their belt.

beat the fins next week and see what happens.

Next week's game is a must win if we want to make the playoffs. I don't think we get the win at Miami, but the young guys will continue to prosper and gel as as a unit. It's Miami's chance to get to make a statement and position themselves for a playoff spot, and they are hungrier than ever, I think it's their time finally. The Pats season will come to a screeching halt on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in South Florida. It's been a fun ride, but the Pats have been decimated with injuries and won't have enough in the tank to even make it to 9-7. I'll say 8-8 with difficulty.
