this one is hard to take, its because we came so close of making a great mark on this seaosn...

One thing is for sure Matt cassel is not the reason we are losing games, its a shame for him..

Im disapointed in our d.. poor third down defense has been our demise all yr long.. No way the jets should have won that game.. no fn way...

But then again it was a great game, I love this team, but cant accept a loss to the jets.. sorry ... Its going to be pretty tough now for playoffs if we lose to miami.. Jets and miami have pretty decent schedules after that .. Miami and Pitt , lose both of those games.. bye bye playoffs.. 1 win, still hope for a wild card.. 2 wins anything could happen as we found out tonight.. But losing to the jets always hurts..

Big props to Cassel and Mayo.. thumbs down to Watson and the defense...but playin with out some key people they did ok..

Both games didn't disappoint me all that much. It's the playoffs that matter. Jets fans who are celebrating like it's 1968 (or 2006) need to remember that. And I'm very much encouraged with what this injury-riddled Pats team has been able to put together and build on even as they get hit with more and more injuries. Really, it's been awesome.

The offense seems to make mental mistakes way too often in big moments.

The defense leaves the tight end open on way too many 3rd and longs.

This is going to feel like a long 10 days until Miami.

I am really starting to question Dean Pees these past 3 years. Damn it, feels like we lost the Super Bowl tonight.

I'm not dissapointed at all. We have tons of injuries and EVERY GUY THAT HAS HAD TO STEP UP HAS. We have no #1 corner, we lost our best LB, our top 3 rbs, our hall of fame QB, our potentially HOF Safety (even if he's lost a step)...and every guy that has taken their place has stepped up and played to the best of their ability. This is a TEAM to be proud of, regardless of the W or the L. They're doing the best they can. And I haven't been more proud of a team in a while.

I'm incredibly happy about this team.

Yeah, but the timing is perfect. The Pats are going to need every minute of preparation they can muster for that confangled Wildcat/overload business.

With Pittsburgh on the Horizon, the Miami game is crucial. (Lose both and we're 6-6.)

The problem is, these two losses have major playoff implications. We could have forced Indy to win out against teams like Jacksonville, Tennessee and San Diego, now they are going to be in the same situation as us. This game, obviously, puts us far behind the 8 ball in the AFCE race.

every loss is disappointing. our d is disappointing. and the fans at the razor god damn can u make some f'n noise. its embarrassing. im a pats fan from pa so i know how you are supposed to cheer. sh!t its like a library there.

Yeah. I suspect that when the dust settles, if the season were to end after wk 11 we would be out of the playoffs.

That means the Pats seriously need to start chopping wood from here through the holidays . . .

Jets have a good chance of losing next week and if not then they still have to play the Broncos, Bills, and Dolphins.

I still think that if we win in Miami (which is a big IF granted) then we are in great position to take the division. The Steelers are overrated. We will beat them. And Arizona is weak on the East Coast. Playing in Seattle kind of scares me though, but the Jets have to do it too.

The Broncos aren't an automatic win, but they aren't anywhere near as good as their reputation. I think we are in great shape to make the playoffs. 11-5 is a playoff lock, which would mean they lose 1 more game and win the rest, and 10-6 will put is at the mercy of tiebreaks, but still a decent chance. The division is still possible, and I think we have a very good shot at the wild card, but the fact is we need to win at least one or two tough games to get there (whether it be Miami, Pittsburgh, or Arizona).
It's a weird feeling to have a playoff spot in doubt, but it won't be in doubt if they just play to their potential.

big loss to indy and the jets, the miami game is a must win just to stay alive and that pittsburgh team coming up is no joke, also the cardinals scare the crap out of me those two wr's and our jv secondary yikes we need the D to step up and play like the 03 D

Don't be disappointed Pats fans, you played a good game, you made the Jets pass D look like crap, and you're still gonna go to the playoffs.
