BB is a genius and he will prove to the world that with a backup QB he can win it all.

Someone pass the Kool Aid.

Maybe. Rex Grossman got to a Super Bowl. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. If the defense plays greatly, it could happen.

Just FYI, weed hasn't been officially decriminalized yet here in MA. You might want to wait until that happens before you hit the peace pipe for any more of your visions.

The only thing giving me hope for this year's team is last year's Giants, oddly enough. I'm not scared of any team because the team that was unbeatable (us last year) actually lost. We could win it, or not, we'll see.

I had a dream that the patriots would beat the giants in a rematch.

this wouldn't suprise me if Cassel keeps improving like he is (although I'm far from the 'lets franchise him' crowd).
However, I think the D (esp the front 7) also would need to improve for this to happen (they have the talent to, but they're not playing like the 2000 - 04 dominance level)

Yeah but the afc is a joke and the patriots are the division leader and have a very talented team with championship experience.

I share your sentiment. For some reason or another, most things conspired our way last year, an immovable object for 18 games.

This year, things have conspired against us. It's a return to the Patriots of old. Win games through pound and ground. Win games through substance, not style. Win games through the face of adversity.

Will we win the superbowl? I don't know. Will we make the playoffs? I don't know. Are we the best coached team and organisation in the NFL. Yes we are.

I ache for our full strength team, yet I can't help but immerse myself in the plots of this season.

Week by week we will slowly get our answer.

Add to the fact the AFC east unconveniantly got good at the wrong time, they've had to fight for first. The next 2 games are the road to the postseason, win them and they're in. It'd take a huge choke job not to atleast get to 10-6.

I think this team is built for the playoffs. I also think they match up to the scrappy team, which seem to be at the top this year. Offenses like the Colts kill us because we can't get to the passer. But teams that grind it out play our style. I think they'd have a good shot in any of those games.

Ran into this guy @ the Pats/Bills Game

I predicted after week 1, Cassel would be SB MVP. I am sticking with it.

Not even close. The D is not sb caliber, period.

Hopefully that was this year "D blows the game". Better now than the last game of the season.
