Took a look at a trend that shows since 1965 - New England has been beaten by the Jets at home in New England in the month of November in 8 of the last 9 games that were played in New England going back 43 years.

November has been a bad month to play the Jets in NE if you are a history stats nut

Then again overall in the past 10 recent meetings, the Pats are 9-1 against the Jets

Something has to give here but thats a pretty scary long November trend

I suppose one can never have too many graveyards to whistle past :(

I nominate this thread for the practice squad.

actually odds and past outcomes is no certain predictor of one game outcome.
expecially if there is no rational reason for something other that a 50-50 outcome over time of a specific event. ;)

The Pats have lost what three or four times of the Belichick era with only one loss since 2002. I don't know if any trend of the Pats losing to the Jets are valid today.

Guys, just FYI:

//sarcasm
The Patriots regular season record, including last year, is 22-3. The Pats have a 22/25 = 88% shot at winning this game. Stats don't lie, just people.

Last loss at NE against the green was in 2006 in that sloppy rainy game at Gillette

Its Rain forecast for tonight?

I like this trend better: The Patriots are 11-1 in their last 12 games against the Jets.

See everyone at the game!!

The last win against the Jets at Gillette was in the sloppy rain. Don't forget that loss was the last game ever played by the Patriots at home on grass.

And the Pats have won the last 11/12 games vs the Jets. It all depends on what stats you cherrypick. ;)

It's gonna be a tougher game than I want to admit, but I think the Pats have a good chance of winning it having the homefield advantage as well.

Any streak that occured prior to 2008, let alone 43 years ago - is irrelevant.

So I guess that means that the Patriots who have won 3 of 4 Super Bowls in a streak of 4 years is irrelevant since its before 2008 and BBs previous records including a streak of 21 winning games in a row before 2008 are irrelevant too?

If you are going to state something like that you have to include everything so in that regards then everything the Patriots have accomplished before 2008 is irrelevant as well since there were different players on all those other Patriots teams...right?

3/4 isn't a streak. And yes, BB winning 21 games in a row has absolutely nothing to do with the game tonight.

And yes, the Brady led Pats winning record against the Pennington led Jets has little to do with the outcome of tonight, besides being a motivator for the Jets.
