Adam Schefter just speculating that Justin Miller was placed on waivers by the Jets to make room for Ty Law and he would not be surprised if he ends up on the Pats should he make it by the time they're allowed to make a pick up. Interesting....

Re: Justin Miller may end up a Pat

you can have him, the guy is a certified scrub

Re: Justin Miller may end up a Pat

as a kick returner and/or just for information, not a horrible idea. As a db, methinks the current crop is better.

I'll take him over Ty Law... he showed some flashes of real talent his first few seasons, but hasn't been the same recently... maybe a change of scenery will help. Either way, at least he has the physical skill to play football, I don't know if the same can be said about Ty Law.

he is dumb as a rock. he has 0 career INT's. We gave him the last two years to step up and do anything in our secondary and he sucked. I still expect to see post on how the pats could turn him around similar to how they turned around vic hobson

Re: Justin Miller may end up a Pat

thats why Darrelle Revis is one of the top young CB's in the game right?

well he was coached up before he got there and isn't forgetting things

So Dave Wanstedt is a great coach now?

He succeeds in spite of Fredo, not because of him....imagine what he could do if he wasn't hindered like that

As much of need and good addition he would be, my thinking is the saints will scob him up..

I agree with the Jets fans. Miller is just a name as a defensive back, and we've already got some decent returners.

Jets have consistently started street FA's over the guy at CB. see: Hank Poteat, Ty Law

If he can't beat the Pats' CB rejects I don't see why we would sign him.

So has Rhodes, Harris, Thomas, Jenkins, Pace, and Lowery right?

K-Ro is right, he's pretty dumb... we don't need that.

Why would you need ty law??

veteran leadership to a young secondary, possible rotational nickel back/safety, and no down side, if he sucks we cut him for no cap hit basically. What did I miss?

The Jets almost never let a good player or even a guy with promise get away with the exception of Penington they usually know that who they cut is simply not very good.

Hobson is an example and Mangini can usually tell talent from the experience from his days in NE
